This thread just demonstrates how dumb the competition aspect of skiing has become. It's only little shit heads like you that care who wins X Games or Dew Tour or any of the other dumb contests like this. To the rest of us over the age of 14, these contests are simply 20 seconds snippets of skiing without any meaning beyond how nice the tricks thrown were. Who cares what some judges think? To say "ohh my god T Wall sucks because he didn't win X Dew Games" just proves that you know nothing about what good skiing is. Fucking get with it. It's not these dumb ass slope runs that matter. Skiing is about smooth tricks, style, and innovation. It's a pity that little retards like you guys won't ever get that, and in turn won't ever understand this sport.

I think he has a point. Tom's career is far from over, but his hype is certainly been stunted. I'm a huge fan of his and, like most of the kids on here, i felt he could do anything. After watching him compete in such competitions and not preform to my expectations, I'm afraid he might become stale. It was like he was going up up up, nothing could stop him except Aspen's slopestyle course.
