if you rode pc everyday that tom is there..you would realize he didn't sell out..he goes pretty damn hard
 
Isn't being a professional skier, by definition, selling out? When being an athlete comes down to skill and marketability, how is it possible to not sell out if you want a successful career as a professional skier?

Name me one pro skier that hasn't sold out, at some level?

 
Injury, death, loss of sponsorship for other or aforementioned reasons, insufficient savings to support oneself after retirement (which is earlier than in many other professions)...

Yes some have carved a niche for themselves in the industry, but many more haven't.
 
Besides loss of sponsorship(which could be related to loss of job) aren't all the other risks present in many other professions?

Also, why do you feel it necessary to say "no homo"? Are you a homophobic moron?
 
..technically perhaps, but too a much lesser degree. You aren't risking injury or death sitting at a desk (maybe only psychological), and an injury may not even prevent you from working in many other professions. And how many 50+ year old professional skiers do you know?
 
Tom wallisch didn't even hit a handrail in keep looking. How are you gonna be in a 4bi9 movie called keep looking and not be able to compete with your legendary segment in look it up ??? nigga

 
I don't think he's a sellout, he does have to try hard to not be the shaun white of skiing though, as good as he is.

That being said i prefer watching old school Tom

That being said i fucking hate the north face ad, why are they allowed to make a 30 second ad, that's dumb. /rant
 
Yeah deeeefinitely a sellout...comes out of nowhere basically and progresses as everyone wishes they could to make a living skiing...not only that, but he's getting a college education when he's not competing in the Olympics....sounds like he's doing everythinggggg wrong...if you want to be a thug
 
Tom Wallisch doesn't owe you shit, get off his ass. He's future spinning and getting paid for it, get used to it.
