Tom Wallisch Or Bobby Brown?

There is no doubt that Tom Wallisch and Bobby Brown are both extremely good skiers. They both did really good in the dew tour too, But who do you think will win the x-games slope-style? Or if there is a different skier that you believe will win say who it is and give a good reason why.
 
It could honestly be anyone; the field is so stacked. With that said, it'd be cool to see Wallisch win.
 
im going to stand up for my favorite of the two. if tom has a run like the one in the dew tour then him but im gonna go with bobby. i just love his style
 
i love both of their styles and i dont know who im going to go with it really depended on who does better on there runs but they are pretty much have the same level of skill.
 
I dont know why everyone here likes tom wallisch so much, i think that whenskiiers talk to much about style it makes our sports sound like what figure skateing is to hockey, i think bobby brown deserved the last dew tour slope style and he will win the slope syle at the x games, that bbeing sain i would like to see someone else like lj strenio, or just about anyone else win but them, no hate on bobby brown i just want to see someone else
 
people like tom wallisch because we all live vicariously through him. He was an unknown skier just shredding at his home mountain with all his college friends having fun and making edits when he just blew up. We all in the back of our minds want him to win because most of us think of our own edits and ski careers in the same way. We live the Wallisch dream.

Who represents who in that analogy you gave? Because I would say people dislike bobby brown over Wallisch because bobby brown is the figure skater. He is just an athlete, and seems totally focused on the competition and nailing a perfect run. Tom comes off as more natural. He is competitive but it seems like his number one goal is to have fun. Bobby Brown could be having great fun too but we see it more in Toms skiing than bobbys. Thats why we like him more.
 
Tom's been on a roll all year, so I'd say he's got a good chance. However, you can never really predict what happens, like someone else said it's a stacked field and it go anywhere.

 
There are other guys who could take this, too. Sammy, for one. But if it comes down to these two, I think Bobby will win. He has more unnatty dubs.
 
Lol wut? Pretty sure Tom has the best unnat dubs in the game.. I don't think I've even seen Bobby sw right dub 10, only 9s...
 
wow sir 10/10 for you, that was a really good point on why we actually like tom. we just hope to be like him, cause he was like us. I like tom cause he came from a mountain called wisp and skied all the other shitty PA mountains. and same with me, I live in maryland and ski everything he once learned to ski on. It gives me the hope of me becoming just as badass as him... not gonna happen. And I also started skiing park the same time he started. He gives us hope.
 
Bobby has down an unnatty switch dub 12, I remember reading that somewhere. And he did the switch dub 12 in the dew tour. If he ever nails that switch dub 14 in a slopestyle course, it'll be tomorrow. Those jumps look poppy as fuck. He had it at Killington, but it looked like he just over-rotated or something. And these jumps are 10 to 15 feet bigger than the dew tour jumps. However, I will personally be rooting for Tom and Edollo!
 
I know people who have said, freestly skiing is to raceing what figure skateing is to hockey, i disagree with this except for when people Care more about style and how things look than the tehnical difficulty of a trick, this sounds like the wierd things they do figure skateing when they arent trwirlling in the air
 
saw that too and it bothered me for some reason

but quite honestly if bobby does a tripple he will win because thats just how xgames is...
 
wow that was some of the smoothest shit i have ever seen. He didn't even move any part of his body while doing those.
 
i agree with this analogy completely but tbh bobby was kinda the same. i had no idea who he was then all of a sudden he was slaying contests.

i think wally will win slope and bobby will win big air

but if i was a judge i would give it to e dollo because his dubs and bio spins are the sickest things i've ever seen as far as aerials go
 
Ahh didn't hear about this unnat sw dub 12... Tom has switch dub 14s as well though, and will probably score higher on the rails although the rails are pretty weird this year and I don't think a good rail skier like Tom has much of an advantage
