I'm looking for the TWall edit where he does that one foot grind? It came out pretty recently, but I can find it!
+k for help

i'm too lazy to actually go and find it, but it's from the breck dew tour go pro follow cam of tom. from freeskier.com

that's the one i was looking for. now that i found it, i might as well make this thread somewhat entertaining so here it is for everyone

So, what is the public opinion on one footers at the moment? When Gagnier did one in the X-Games years back, most of the kids on NS called him someone who bats for the other team and other bad names, mostly a rollerblader and that shit like that should not be witnessed in skiing.

Now we have kids looking for Wallisch's one footer, probably not going to bash it. Are we in the clear for creativity now?

Might be a pretty hard trick to do, but I think pretzels and other grinds are more physically appealing.

true. i think they can really open up combos like 1 foot to diffrent rail tricks. i think id be cool to se a switch 1 footer

I would love to see some fast slides, or one foot (front ski only) grinds. I have always thought those look nasty, fastslide to blind 270 out would be crazy.

Peeps were pushin dis shit years ago but no one cares till dat fuckin wallisch youngster comes ina nd is like dis is cool but now da peeps be feelin it g

Well, not with similar wording, but that's what I'm saying. A lot of us were rooting for Cagnier with that sick ass one-footer in the X back in the day. Still, most decided to ride the "that's fucking gay" train.

It's overwhelmingly funny to see comments about Wallisch associated with good one-footers...

Risto Korhonen was doing sick one footers before anyone knew of Wallisch. Probably not the only one either. Why do I care? Of course I fucking care, this is progression and I want to see how differently new skiers adapt to these tricks compared to the old ones. Personally Ilove it.

As for Asian_Allen, I'm still thinking that it was sarcasm seeing that you are the most rollerbladery skier on this planet.

LISTEN
just because a trick is possible does not mean it looks good, is cool, or people should do it. one footers still are and always will be one of the ugliest and dumbest tricks there is. just because tom wallisch did one does not mean you need to hop on the the hyphy-bandwagon and do your best impersonation.

Do you think "pretzels" (what a stupid fucking name) looked good on the first try? Weird, maybe. Good, fuck no.

It's because of the attitude of people like you that not many people want to progress. Thank god Andy, WIll and many others are keeping it real.

YES, i almost shit myself the first time i saw a pretzel because it was so sick. i still remember it. corey vanular in high five i believe.
if people like you keep thinking that just because a trick is possible it should be done, our sport will become olympic aerials and gymnastics with no soul.

and the edit is tom wallish go pro brecknvidge edit...jsut incase u didnt read all the other post that told u......... ...........

whether the one footers are cool or not that video is sick.
and fbskier dude, that hansels so hot right now! zoolander ha ha gotta love it.

Cool or not I did one on a flat down rail last week. It's easy if you have more speed but if you catch an edge you're gonna die, more so if it's your front foot. I thought it was pretty cool.

you guys are just dumb sometimes..let everybody do what they think is gool...aight! just because wallisch has done one, doesnt mean u have to do them!

one footers are the hardest in the business!

and what about that guys:
