Tom Brady or Peyton Manning

Im having this debate right now with my friends and I would pick Brady any day cause 3 superbowls is greater than 1, Im obviously biased cause I'm a patriots fan but who would you rather have on your team?
 
who would you have on your team looking back on their careers? I guess yeah whose better. I think Brady's career has been greater with his circumstances. How he came in from being a back up won the superbowl then won two more and he didn't always have the best team in the league with exception to two seasons ago.
 
BRADY. come on he's one of the best quarterbacks or team leaders to live. both quarterbacks have had great receivers in their past years. and whose won the superbowl more? brady. 3>1. end of thread.

really not even on the same level. sure peyton has the regular season stats but brady has the rings. peyton is in the elite group and will go down as one of the best ever but he needs a few more rings to be categorized with brady and young. brady is not only the best of this generation but could very easily be the best of all time
 
he listed two rookies because they have a lot of potential and a lot of years ahead of them. Therefore more time to build your franchise around them and future success.

For this next year only though you would obviously take either peyton or brady if you need a QB. Brady has had more post season sucess while peyton does very well in the regular season. About the same age (32 and 31), and both are in their prime. personally I'd take brady (bias aside)
 
Tom Brady is the best, but I'd take Roethlisburger and the Steelers any day. Roethlisburger is not only good, but he played last superbowl with fractured Ribs. Kudos.
 
totally. brady is only "good" because his offensive line is a brick wall, so he has ages to find an open man. manning def has the skillz
 
The defense didn't put together 4th quarter game winning drives in two superbowls. So I guess in Brady's case the offense really does win championships
 
no but the defense gave the offense the opportunity to make those drives happen.

(I played defense when I played ball so maybe I'm a little biased)
 
I think I could throw Peyton Manning into any offense in the nation and he would still be great. Extremely good player, great knowledge, and he pretty much is the offensive coordinator. Brady is a great QB, I just think his awesome team is the reason he has done so much more than Peyton has.

i think manning, his stats are amazing, except for when playyoffs start... that though can't completely be blammed on peyton, the Colts D always seems to find a way to screw up forcing manning to make some questionable things with the ball...
im not saying brady sucks, no he is amazing also, but he dresses like a faggot so i got to go with my man MANNING......

drew brees is also up there with them....

you guys need to take a look at mannings stats in the post season. most of the years he has his worst games during the playoffs, the most crucial time. You can say its cause of a weak defense, but a good QB would find a way to win. He has the talent and the stats, but brady always finds ways to keep his team in the game.

i'm too lazy to look for it but there was a good article on ESPN comparing manning vs kurt warner. It had some good stats on regular season and post season games. I posted it here a while ago so just search it

so you expect a quarterback to NOT hide behind his line? Isn't it the job of the o-line to protect him anyways?

Manning usually calls his own plays and makes 1000 sight adjustments at the line of scrimmage... how does that make him pussy?

Manning gets three plays from Tom Moore (the Colt Offensive Coordinator) a run to the right a run to the left and a pass, manning then decides what to call... if the d has 8 guys in the box than odds are they are blitzing so manning will obviously call an audible to a pass....... if thats what some of you call being a pussy then i guess he is.... oh and i believe manning came back from TWO knee surgies 6 weeks before kickoff this season, AND has the one of the longest consecuative start streaks... now lets see brady has how many starts? lol jk jk i feel bad for ole brady cause of his knee i hate seeing any athlete go down with an injury like that...... happened to me.....
you really cant go wrong with having manning or brady on your roster, or brees....
