Hey guys, I'm relatively new to the dslr scene. I love using my canon t5i but I find the low parameters of the 18-55mm kit lens very limiting. I am looking for an ultra wide angle lens for ski videography (and general photography). I've been looking at other options for a while but i keep coming back to Tokina, I've been looking at 3 lenses in particular. the 11-16mm f/2.8, the 10-17mm f/3.5-4.5 fisheye, and the 12-24mm f/4 II. thanks for looking and feel free to make suggestions or recommendations.

It's basically a decision between a wider maximum aperture and a larger zoom range. Priotitize and decide

Stay away from vari-aperture lenses (10-17) if you can afford it, that's typically a good indicator that a lens may not be of the highest quality.

Ive used the 10-17 off and on loved the crisp colors/ look of the glass in videos but once you change your focal length you lose your consistent aperture look like forcillo said after getting my 11-16 I am much more pleased with the non fisheye and the 2mm difference is negligible at that
