What up all?! It's that time of year again, time to release some details on this year's pre-season event(s) at Togg. I say event(s) because instead of just one big event in October, we're spreading the love and making a big upgrade with our premiers. The Fifth Annual Hay Bales and Grind Rails will go down on Saturday, October 23rd. We'll be showing two films and adding an actual competition to the event this season. There will be product tosses and prize giveaways all day. Admission is $10 and will include a custom designed An& Brand t-shirt. Here's what the schedule is looking like:
12:00 Session on the rail setup2:00 Premier #1: Sandbox Films "Now You Know"3:00 Premier #2: Meathead Films "Work It Out"4:00 Rail Jam with prizes
More details on this event will be released in the coming weeks. Our second event of the fall will be going down just in time to get everyone stoked for the CNY ski and board season. We've stepped it up big time this year and booked a double feature premier at the Palace Theater in Syracuse on Friday, November 26th. We will be showing "Eye Trip" from Level 1 and "Left Brain Right Brain" from Think Thank. Doors will open at 6:00PM and the films will start rolling at 7:00PM. Admission will be $10 and will include a bandana designed by the An& Brand as well as entry into the raffle.
We are really excited about this format for a number of reasons. With two less films showing at Hay Bales, we will now have time for two legit sessions (one being a competition) and we'll be able to offer the riders the best setup possible. We chose the day after Thanksgiving for the Palace premier to give the people who are off at school or just can't make it to HBGR a chance to get stoked before the season kicks off. The step up to a legit theater is obviously pretty exciting as well, while our premier setup in the main lodge is nice, this will definitely create a pretty cool atmosphere for a film premier. More details for both of these events will be released in the coming weeks. In the meantime, get stoked for a couple fun events and get ready to kick off the 2010-11 season in style! Peace all...

Had a chance to check out both Eye Trip and Work It Out this weekend at IF3... holy crap. Eye Trip was wind blowing and Work It Out had the classic Meathead vibe that can't even be described. Definitely beyond stoked to be bringing these two films to the masses this fall!

god damnit i am home from college until the 19th and of course HB&GR is the next weekend

have fun everyone

Wish I could make it to the Nov. 26th Eye Trip premiere. I will hopefully be skiing that day. I always start my season off by hitting up the slopes of Vermont on Black Friday. Except for last year when only Sunday River was open...

Stoked to announce some local musical talent that's going to tear up the stage during the rail session. Starting at 1:00 with the beginning of the session, DjBigski will be spinning beats to shred to. At 2:00, recently signed local emcee IMG will join bigski on stage to spit some fire for the riders and spectators. Delirium will follow IMG with another hot set to wrap up the rail session. This schedule is weather dependent, so pray for some sunshine. Nothing like live music, sunshine, and shredding in October!

Bump for this event... we've had people come from far and wide to shred, and to my knowledge each one of them left with an equally as wide smile. Show some love so we can keep making this a more legit happening, WORD!

There will be a down-flat bar and a mellow down bar for sure. Debating a mellow down box or a culvert pipe for the third feature. Boarders love the culverts so this is the only reason I'm debating it, otherwise the down box would be a no-brainer haha. Thoughts?!

either one would be sick. Culvert was sick early last season. But a down box would be dope too. Who cares anyway? either way its going to be great

Today was a lot of fun. Tons of skiers and boarders out there killing it. Super fun setup. Meathead's Work it Out was amazing.

Thanks to everyone who came out! We had a great turnout, perfect weather, and the live music really put things over the top! So stoked on how everything went, I hope you all had as much fun as I did. I'll work on rallying some pictures together and getting them on the flickr page. Thanks again guys, see you in November at the Palace! (more info on the Palace premier to come)

its was a good time... i got there a lil late and only got to hit the rails 3 or 4 times... :-| i drove and hour lol.. but i was just stoked to hit some hand rails. thanks togg

Ah damn man, sorry to hear that. I was hoping that posting the schedule before hand would eliminate this problem, guess not... Sorry homie, hope those were the 4 best rail hits you've had since last season haha. Come shred with us this winter!

i had no idea of the rail jam till 1pm that day... lol my buddy called me and then he ened up bitchin out so i just went dolo. and ya it just felt good to be on a snow in run and a nice rail hahaha. 270 on fail.... covered my self with mud but i wasnt even bitter. I ussually get a pass with greek peak and i miss the dead line for the cheap passes... so i was thinking about skiing with you guys this year for the first time... whats your prices? and hows your park setup looking?.... greeks jumps got no balls lol.

haha good stuff. We have a real fun crew at Togg and we'd love to have you shred with us. Your best bet would be if you're a college student, $15 a day or $175 season pass. High school students are $315. Besides that check out the website for your options, maybe even a once a week pass is something you're looking for? Check it out man http://www.skitog.com/passes.html

ooobe fuckk... i work full time and i graduated college already... ill take a look when i get home thanks for the info...+k
