Toe piece wiggle on Marker f12 tours

I know there are some old threads on this issue that sometimes arises with Markers but I just wanted to get some updating info/insight from people

So I just snagged a full touring setup pretty cheap. the bindings are a pair of Marker f12 touring bindings. they appeared in good condition, and for the most part they are. Only the toe pieces have a good amount of hinge wiggle in them. Though when I click in, they are sturdy. The guy I bought them from said its given him no problem, and I have heard stories of this happening and people continue to ski on them as long as they are stable when stepped in.

What's your experience? Am I risking eating shit?

the play in the toe is warranty usually warranty if you were the first user and the binding were new enough.

You'll be fine to keep riding them especially if there is no wiggle while you are clicked in. Life span of this is variable on many factors so just try to be nice especially since they are the F12s and not Dukes

yea i'm 120 lbs and my knees are pretty shot these days so I'm not charging, at least for some time. so I'm hoping these will do the job for a while, otherwise maybe I'll try to contact marker

If you can take them to a marker dealer and have them check them out that would be your best bet really. May be something really simple. The f12 is the squire though so not the most solid

Yea I skied them the other day and they worked fine so I might keep riding them for a bit. I heard it's an unfixable problem/difficult to get a warranty, and I assume the guy I bought em from would have done either already if he could since he had them for a while. But i'll definitely try and bring em to a store when i have the time
