Toe Piece question

K so i was wondering.... when your boot is clicked in properly, are the arms of the toe piece supposed to spread, or is there supposed to be any spacing from the toe piece and your boot? If its any help I have scratch 140 ti's(this years) and this years rampages.
 
Rossi doesn't have manual adjustment for the toe wings, so they should stay the same...as long as your forward pressure is right, don't worry about the toe wings.
