just threw his first pick of the game...first of what I hope will be many. Don't get me wrong, I like the guy, but I'm facing a kid with him in fantasy football...and I want people to see that he shouldn't be the MVP by any stretch of the imagination. Give the guy a fucking puppy by the way...
 
he's had an amazing year. don't get me wrong, I'm a giants fan, but he's been playing out of his mind recently. probably not mvp, but easily top 5 players in the league

Oh please...he served his time, get over it. Other criminals have the chance to come back into society when they have served their sentences, how is this any different? People who go to prison for hurting HUMANS are welcomed back into society with all sorts of work programs for ex convicts and such. quit being a pussy.
 
Shut up. He's done his time, and has accepted his punishment like a man. He now realizes what he did was wrong and is speaking out against it. He got a second chance and is know arguably the best player in the league. He deserves everything he has gotten at this point, including the jail time.
 
Fuck that. No one gives a shit about Ben Rapelisberger, he violated two HUMAN beings, it's ridiculous. Yeah he ran a dog fighting op, he didn't hurt anybody and wasn't involved in a murder(Ray Lewis).

My point is, if people think they have the right to own an animal, than they shouldn't be so outraged when someone does whatever they want with it.
 
anybody who makes dogs fight and watches is not the type of person to be too sorry about doing it

anyway football and dogfighting are 2 very separate parts of his life, i respect him only as a player but as a person he should be executed

now I am no way a fan of Vick, since I'm a giants fan but the man did pay his time...however I wish the cleavland browns had gotten him because it would be really funny to see Vick play in "the doghouse"
 
My fantasy opponent also has Mike Vick. I need him to do awful this week because I'm starting my second string QB without Aaron Rodgers.

Nobody said it was okay. However I personally believe that rape is a much more serious crime.

As I said before, If you think it's okay to own a living creature than why is it not okay to subject it to your will.

Yes we can agree on that, and he was punished quite harshly. Rapelisberger on the other hand...
 
Whats fucked up is that only a few years removed from killing a person while driving drunk, even though he had time to "flash his high-beams" at the victim but not hit the massive brakes on his Bentley, Donte Stallworth is playing in the NFL.
 
mm, i've killed my fair share of animals but hey i guess dogs are domesticated and that makes them special.

either way, he did the time so i dunno why everyone's acting like he didn't.

YES. i really dont give a shit. about the dog fighting.. he got caught.. there are worse things in the world then dog fights.. hell ive seen a rooster fight in east denver. no joke.. bloody.

i mean.. maybe im a fucked indavidual.. killing dogs is not as bad as killing humans... sorry. thats just me. im not like. hell yeah. lets kill dogs.. its fucked up.. but he paid his time and he is still able to do his job quite well.

i hope he gets the mvp.. and i hope he gets a dog.!
 
Vick has been my favorite since he came into the NFL. So glad i didn't stop when he went to prison. I don't even care who he plays for i will always follow him.

 
Michael Vick is the embodiment of what the american legal system dreams of. He committed a crime and has been rehabilitated into a functioning(and flourishing) part of society. Take a look at kobe byrant for his rape case, an act against another human that will likely fuck her up forever, or wikileaks julien assange's rape case (saying yes to sex with a condom and without are completely different things) and the way the public has dealt with those two. They've looked at the girls as lying hoes, while kept the heros. But vick went after dogs, mans best friend and somehow showed that raping a women is a lesser crime in the eyes of american media than having brutal dog fights. He fucked up, and what he did was fucked, but he didn't do it alone; Vick served his time(less than he should have, but more than bryant did or assange will[for rape]) and people should at least look at him with a clean slate, or look at the criminal system as fucked up.
Vick wins MVP or the supper bowl in the next two years and he'll have a disney movie.
 
El Gato shut the fuck up. He did his time in Jail, is in millions of dollars of debt, and lost the respect of the american people. Now he is building that back up and getting his life together.
 
ElGato should change his name to The Cat and then he can change it to The Pussy. Cause you are a big bitch. I love dogs, and would not support dog fighting, but he did his time, probably lost the majority of his cash, and has this reputation for the rest of his career. Like everyone has been saying, criminals get lesser punishments for crimes against people, who can feel fear, and understand the consequences of injury and death.
He has worked his way back from what he has done, and is killing it harder than pretty much any other Qb.

lol i was checking my phone throughout the game since he is on my fantasy team. He had -2 pts for so long, then finally got to 1 pt. Did a run, checked it again and he somewhere around 18 haha

Vick and Rice are the only reason I still have a chance
 
fuck the giants. all year i hear crap about my team from giants fans. and the one day where i expect the giants to live up to their "hype." they take major cock/balls three feet down their throats and lose. thanks to them i am now out of the finals in my fantasy league. i actually like vick. but not in fantasy. hes a team wrecker.
 
regardless of your opinion of vick as a person, there is no denying that the man is a phenomenal athlete. the guy is one of the best scramblers I've ever seen and I absolutely love watching him play.
and holy shit, what a come back today. i honestly didn't think they could pull it off, but they sure as hell did.
