This clip shows his run that earned him the sickbird award at the north american freeskiing champs in Kirkwood.

we held a memorial party for tobias yesterday. He lived in Crested Butte for two years and tore the mountain up! Tobias was my good friend and i will miss him. He died in an avalanche in the Mt. Baker area on April 18th while skiing with his brother Eli. Last night we put Toby's sickbird belt buckle on his can of ashes for the entire night. The full moon rose over the peak of Mt. Crested Butte and it was a special night for sure. I still can't believe he is gone, but it is great to see that others on this site knew of him. He was a great man, and only 25 years old. Its hard to see him go.. and i will miss him. So sad and sorry that you skied out of this world Tobais, but you made a great impact on everyone you met. RIP.
