Hey Stept Production guys, is it ready yet? all the trailers say the 15th, and I think today is the sixteenth, just wanted to know, because I ve watched all my other ski movies a billion times by now

OMG, my boyfriend is a Liberty Skis rep, and the head of Liberty gave him that movie To Whom It May Concern. We watched it last night - it's awesome and made by like 15 year olds. It is really worth watching. I don't know where to get it, but that's the title. It was funny too.

The DVD is sick (dog).

i watched the trailer/teaser what ever it is and the editing was pretty basic. nothing special in my opinion.

well the movie editting better but that is besides the point, ask any one who has seen it the clips of my drunk mom are the funniest thing on earth, plus iannick b. filmed with us for a short segment, so the skiing is good

Seriously, this is the best work I have seen from sub-16 yr olds. For $10 it is hard to go wrong. Ok ok I got my copy for free from my boyfriend's boss (but he paid for it).

There are the funniest urban rails and shit and it's a good break from the MSP and Teton and Poor Boyz stuff (don't get me wrong, their movies are the shizz, but they are big professional studio type places - these are kids).

Anyway, with the exception of the over-placement of delamination-prone armadas, it is the best DVD value out there. What the heck else can you get that is this entertaining for $10?

I was also happy to see that some of these kids got Liberty to sponsor them.

I can vouch for what this girl ^^ sez. The movie is totally cool for something that kids whipped up on their computers. Ok, so it's not Warren Miller or Johnny Decesare, but for $10 it is great. I give them major props. Next time they should have more bigmountain scenes and not just the urban stuff (which is cool, but not varied enough).

 
wow, i made it and i didnt realize it was that good but thanks, and we love big moutain but we live in the east so it's tuff and when we go out west we love it so much we dont have time to film

I don't see why it costs so much. I would consider buying it, cause I do know all of you who made it, but $10 is far to much to charge. then again, I'm partial because I give out mine for free.

I wouldn't say i hate you at all. yes, I got annoyed with you a lot, and I still think it's stupid to charge $10 for a movie when you are trying to gain respect in the industry, but you know, whatever, I don't doubt it has some decent skiing in it.

i don't know but it seems like you guys have made your first(?) movie and are trying to get money of it thinking that people will buy it for 10 dollars. if i were you, i would give it away for free over the internet and for those who want can buy it on dvd for the price of a dvd-r disc because you can't go professional in one season (i mean professional as trying to get money of your products, don't know if it's right term for that but anyway)... just keep things on a hobby level and have fun.

if people (not only your best friends and a few randoms) really like it what you have done then it's worth of pushing your product(s) forward...but if they hate/dislike you and your product then think what's gone wrong and start from scratch.

i'm bored and wanted to whine about something, just ignore this if you feel like you want to hit me.

I 'run a company' and make movies, and I have made maybe $5 off it in 4+ years. it's called having a job. I don't disagree it'd be nice to make money off of movies, but I think it'd be smarter to gain respect and THEN sell it.

I don't disagree with that. however, looking at berman, who sells a lot of movies for a high price, and seeing that he hardly makes any $$ from it, I guess I don't plan on making really any money from them. it's just cause I love doing it.

I loved the movie. I might even pay $10 to get another copy to give to my sister. Sure I could copy it myself on a DVD burner, but my time alone is worth the $10 and I wouldn't think of debying these kids the $10 for their hard work.

If you don't want to buy it, don't. I believe that the $10 investment will deliver many viewings of entertainment.

 
No kidding, this film is fabulous. What talented kids. Great skiing and pretty darn good editing for early teens. Hella better than I would even begin to know. ...Not to mention, it's so damn funny. The movie is worth $20 just to see the part starring the guys' slighly alcohol-induced mother. I cried I laughed so hard. And, the falls section? Way to document some serious pain! All I'm saying is that, if Matt Morrison can't have kids later in life, there's definitely filmed reason out there for why. That it's both hilarious and heart-wrenching to watch makes it classic.

Anyway, enough bitching about how much the film costs. It's out there and it costs 10 bucks. If you have that much and you're interested, give Stept Productions, a holla. Otherwise, no need to comment, right? You're missing out and no one needs to hear about it. These kids worked hard and like skia540 noted, they're not in this for the dollars. instead they're just trying to keep their business of putting out quality films (meant to keep you and your crew entertained) rolling. That's commendable and nothing else.

well melves, its not like making these movies costs nothing.............. we have alot of expences that need to be paid for. If we didnt want for people have hard copies we might be able to give it out for free(like yours) but people do want them, and that cost money to make! But if oyu dont want to spend the money you dont have to so i dont see your point in arguing
