To whoever stole my ski poles at Keystone yesterday.....

Yesterday I was at Keystone. I went in for a quick pee break and came out to find my poles gone. They were 2011/2012 Sick Stickz Pay Days in a 100cm length (dope matte black and green ones).

This is the first time I have ever had anything stolen from me on the mountain, and I will say it sucks. I always hear stories on NS about kids getting their stuff stolen, but you don't realize how much it sucks until it happens to you. With that said, don't steal other peoples stuff.....because if you do you will pay for it some day....whether it be by getting caught and put in the hospital by someone who is pissed.....or just having bad karma and dying in a horrible plane crash.

TO THE PERSON WHO TOOK MY POLES: YOU HAVE IT COMING YOU LITTLE F***ER!

kinda our fault but one time while we were packing up the car to leave we left the poles with a gopro mounted on it in the snow. didnt realize it til we got home. we called the hill and they werent there. i guess somebody got a free gopro and poles...yeah. it definitely sucks when you have your stuff stolen or lost.
 
soooo, what if you found the kid who stole them and you get all pissed and then he kicks your ass?

wouldn't that just be precious...
 
wtf is this world coming to just give the kid back his poles and use your own shit. Pisses me off hearing stories of people losing their stuff.
 
i bet the little fucker who stole them is some 10 year old who thought it was funny and he easily could have took his moms credit card and bought some if he really needed them. ive got poles stolen twice you wouldnt think its a huge deal but poles still cost money and i didnt have a backup pair either time so i had the penguin steeze going on for a while
 
Fuck you man I had a broken leg and I needed them so that I could support myself as I hobbled to the Ski Patrol hut
 
The nerve of some little bastards! I had a hat stolen... Pretty minor but it still sucks to come back and realize its just gone.
 
that sucks dude. but atleast they didnt jack your skis.

ive had a pair of really nice Smith Phenom goggles stolen. it sucks.
 
At least it was poles not skis but still sucks. Seems to happen a lot though. Skier gets poles stolen they steal somebodies, it's like a never ending cycle of pole thieving.

i've had nice poles stolen before, it sucks ass. my friend once caught a kid trying to take his goggles while we were in the lodge...classic...
 
Thats the worst man, who the hell steals poles?? Looks like ill be seperating my skis and puttin them each at a seperate rack again after hearing this
 
PRetty much this. Some fucker took my poles, so I just took a pair of rentals that were on the rack. As shitty as this sounds, when your poles get stolen, you steal a pair (I only take rentals when mine are stolen).
 
this is what i do, no ones gunna steals one ski and one pole. its kinda of a hassle buts its better than getting your skis/poles stolen

here is what i saw today, someone had a pair of new chetlers, they locked one ski up, someone took the other ski!

i was walking for lunch and i saw one ski with a lock on it and the guy was standing there talking to his friend, he was hella pissed.

who the hell steels one ski?
 
Yea it blows big time. Got my jacket stolen a year ago, now I just to keep it really safe. really wish these fags would stop stealing gear. There's like 4 threads this week about it.
 
That sucks. Do people have the same view about stealing from stores, though? It seems like shoplifting is less frowned upon than from other people. Either way its ratty, I had my brand new board stolen from Stratton Vt last year
 
yeah dude i had one stolen like 2 weeks ago brand new during 7th hour (last hour of the day) while i was talking to the teacher. i was talking to the teacher and the bell rang and i returned to fimd no hat. was fuckin pissed.
 
I just realized that I have skis that are actually worth stealing for once, i may have to get me one of those locks
 
That sucks man. I had a friend who got somthing stolen and posted a thread on ns and got nothing but shit. At least you don't have to deal with a bunch of kids saying your a dumbass for getting your stuff stolen. Still sucks though.
 
Don't have to big to take someone down, anger is way more valuable in a fight, and I know if I found someone who stole something from me and would freak.
