To those living in vancouver

hello all,

does anyone live in vancouver, close to downtown, (no surrey or burnaby or richmond) and have some extra space (floor/couch/room) for the first 2 weeks of june (well from the 29th of may to about the 10th of June)?

I am undertaking my masters research and i have to do a bunch of interviews in Vancouver. I am just trying to piece together a network of places to stay in (so i will not become 'that guy on the couch') I can pay some form of rent, and it would be much appreciaited.

come on, west coasters are supposed to be all nice and friendly. I promise i am not a creeper, and will do your dishes!
 
Dude, few of us actually live in "Vancouver" proper...it's fucking stupid expensive and somewhat inconvenient for skiing and/or snowboarding.

your offer is legit, but unless you're willing to consider north van, west van, or burnaby, there's a fat chance you're gonna be outta luck, even if you're a decent guy who's willing to do dishes and shit.
 
i can do north van if it is at all close to the ferries, i'll prolly just end up in the hostels for a few weeks...
 
I might be able to help you out, if i still have my place  you can throw me some cash or somethign and stay in it for awhile. I'm out at ubc.....hopefully 16th florr of new aparment soon! So id ono it might eb sketch cuz that shit can get me kicked out if i am not there, but i don't know if i will have place yet.
