i have the worst shin bang but its only on my left shin and hurts so bad i didnt ski a whole week then i went today cuz we had a snowday and i landed backseat a little one time and was buttering around and then after about 2 runs i had to leave cuz my shin hurt so bad. i just tested some foam in my boot and that just makes it hurt worse

ya i had that too for soo long and i tried my first 900 with really bad shins and landed really far down and hurt em really bad, but in like 2 weeks it was gone, i have permanant bone bruise in my shins

I had that one time I landed backseat off this cliff and managed to land in the only spot that someone else had landed it felt like my leg broke off at the top of my boot. It hurt for the rest of the year, I don't know what you can do to help it, see a doc or make sure your boots fit properly i guess.

i might switch to snowboarding cuz i cant handle shinbang anymore, i have this whole week off and there is mad snow and i want to go so bad but i have only been once cuz my shins hurt so bad it hurts when i walk. i have spk boots too that fit perfectly and only my left shin hurts my right one feels great

Those are unreal for shinbang.

However the best solution for shinbang is to stop landing backseat! THats what causes it... landing sitting down a little. What tricks give you shinbang? I'll bet you need to work on your takeoff making sure you've got a strong pop and you're on balance.

Landing backseat is death for shins... something about the muscles ripping away from the bone or some shit like that.

If you land backseat, just fall. Don't fight it. Only the perfect landing should be landed!

well i went to the shop and the dude gave me heel lifters for free and they didnt do shit but i also took a pice of foam and just put it in front of my shin but that also makes it hurt worse. i wanna get those manoove things im gonna check out a few other shops and see what they can do

you could try vetwrap. i use it all the time and for everything, and i use it on my horses. you can go to a livestock feed store and they should have it. it's super cheap and it's better than the stuff that you get at the local drugstore cuz it's is made to withstand horses legs. it's really pliable.

and of course take ibuprofin every six hours, but EVERY six hours. never skip.
