To the fans of The Misfits:

Danzig//no question. Although i didn't mind some of the newer stuff with Graves, it just wasn't the misfits. They should stop already.
 
man I don't really care but last time I went to a misfits show it sucked so bad. pretty good music but so many people in the pit who had no idea what to do. I got straight punched in the face a few times. just a bunch of big dumb guys in misfits shirts they bought at the mall.

same thing goes for last rancid show I was at.

I like some pop punk once in awhile but seriously the people at shows just ruin it for me.
 
I've always wondered about this, what is one "supposed to do" in the pit? Is it just fucking anarchy or somehow controlled chaos?

Like what does one actually do in a mosh pit when one is moshing properly? I'm not being sarcastic, i'm genuinely curious
 
this. I got accidentally punched in the head at CKY and went down. Thought I was gonna get trampled. 10 hands reached down and power lifted me back to my feet. It was pretty awesome. Then we just kept going.
 
I like both Graves and Danzig, but Danzig wins the contest because he is the original. On the other hand, Jerry Only is terrible.
 
It really all depends. Whether your at a punk vs hardcore vs beatdown show, or what area/state your in. Cali kids are totally different from Atlanta kids. At punk shows, its generally stage dives, just pushing/shoving, and 2 stepping. Of course at big shows, like Misfits and Rancid, you get kooks who arent really part of the scene treating it like a beatdown band, and crowdkilling

I love it when LAST CARESS comes up on the shuffle when I'm standing at the top of the jump line. Also some solo Danzig like Twist of Cain gets me pretty fired up too.
