...who stole my video camera in Lake Louise, I'm going to find you, and kill you.

I put a backpack with my video camera and tapes behind a tree for 2 runs. When i came back it was gone. I will find you, and yell at you loudly until you give me my camera. And then probably kill you.

But in the meantime, if you could post the footage from Louise that would be great thanks :) !!! lolzzz

damn, if i found a video camera behind a tree in the woods, i'd fuckin take it. your an idot to leave it there.

if you had left it in the park though, that probably wouldn't have happend.

or you could have asked a lift guy to look after it.
 
is the world that bad that we can't leave something for 2 runs without worrying about it being taken? if you need to steal something in order to get it you do not deserve it.

Damn son that sucks. But to leave your camera alone? Kind of a dumb move now-a-days you think? Either way it doesn't make it right so I hope you find the person and promptly kill him/her.
 
what i'm saying is that there are other places to leave it, other than IN THE WOODS. i leave my shit on the mountain all the time, in the park, anywere. if its in the woods it leads to the impression that its lost. i might give it to the guys at the lost n found, but those assholes would take it for themselfs.

Do you think they would just accidentally misplace it behind a tree? I don't think so. Normally when something is placed behind a tree, it's being hid... not just left there.
 
yeah sucks about the cam...i'd have sympathy if you never left it in the woods...especially at a resort like Louise with tourists and alot of ppl from away....at a small hill where everybody knows everybody not so bad but at Louise, c'mon....
 
Was I the one who got my camera stolen? I've never had anything of mine stolen because I do take the right precautions.
 
you aren't finding just a camera...you're finding a backpack, probably full of things that belong to someone else...either turn it in or leave it.
 
and in retrospect, would burying it a little bit have been an option, and then marking it somehow. i know you dont think of these things until its too late, but yeah
 
anytime someone steals something of urs it just pisses you off

like when someone stole my dr. pepper at school, like its only a 1 50 but i flipped out

You're a shithead for leaving it behind a tree, it's that simple. If I found it, I'd turn it in, but that doesnt make the owner any less stupid for leaving it there. That's like saying "I parked my BMW at mall and left it unlocked, and SOMEONE STOLE IT."
 
that sucks, same thing happened to my dad at killy, but we left the cam in a bag near the lockers
 
that sucks man. i was there and i skied a couple runs with the guys from the US, Ben, Sash, and this other tall guy. but i didnt see anyone with a backpack or camera.

i realize i shouldnt have left it behind a tree. I assumed no one would take it from a terrain park because skiers generally know how important a camera is. It was supposed to be a mutual trust between fellow riders, but i guess not.

it was a little sony digital 8, but still a good camera
 
just about any park in europe is above the tree line... alot of resorts are totally above the tree line.

in alot of the big french resorts i wouldn't leave anything outside nemore, it's got so bad over the last couple of years i know more and more people who carry those kinda useless ski locks.
 
Dude, I am probably one of the most honest people ever and really I feel very sorry for you, that really sucks and it's a shame that someone would do that. But seriously, it's 2006 and the world is full of assholes. Did you really not think that leaving a bag with at least a few hundred $$$ worth of kit in it might not be a particularly good idea?

I wish you all the best in tracking it down. Hopefully this will be a lesson to the rest of NS; don't leave shit unattended on the mountain, EVER.
 
you should have bobby traped it to kill whoever tried to steal it in a really painful way. like a motion sensor that fires a bullett into the theifs stomach and cuts their ACL at the same time

or something along those lines

you shouldnt have left it there then, i went to louise a few days ago, i didnt like the park that much. not enough rails and the jumps werent big enough for the gaps
 
once you find him, take a video of you beating the shit out of him

...i don't even leave a hat alone now tho because one day this guy stole my socks when i was inside getting a hotdog
