I was at the premier of a new UK ski film last night called 'snows in the house III'. And i'm very pleased to say i bumped into the one and only Glen Plake, those of you who visit regularly will know that there was some posts recently by 'glenr.plake' and some people doubted he was the real deal. Clearly glens skills are focused on the piste and not the computer, and so he asked me to post this pic for him, as the proof he was being asked for!

Glen's cool in how he always up for speaking to anyone whose into skiing, if there are any uk kids going to the ski show this week go and find him im sure he would love to tell you stories etc. and in general chat about the mountains!

i think thats his wife kimberly in the middle. plake is the shit. i met him when i was like 7 and i was so stoked. he signed all this shit for me and we talked about skiing. looking back, it was awesome that a dude with so much stature in the ski industry went out of his way to talk to some little porker about skiing.

yeah i met him at the x games a few years ago when they were at mt snow. He was on the hill with his mohawk in full force. I followed his line down the whole trail then gave him a big high five at the end. I was like 13 year old girl meeting a backstreet boy.

movie was good, full-on history of skiing documentary, all set around verbier, quite a bit of old-schooler back-patting but quality.

slightly disappointed not to see the mohawk in full-force, still maybe at t ski show!

Dam! i wish i could have been there. Still ill be scoping out the ski show fri and sat. Who do you reckons favorate for the skiers big air?
