To Re-Drill or NOT?

i have some Klint Rockstars that are mounted for 24.5 boot size.i bought some new boots at 25.5.

wondering how much the ride and performance of the ski will be effected by simply moving the heel piece back 2 clicks (1cm) so that the biding will allow the larger size boot to click in.

HELP YA'LL~!
 
the binding is a Head Mojo 11. i have asked a couple of different shops and got a couple of different answers, hence the reason i was putting the question on NS.
 
What were the responses you got from the shops?

No one here can help as we cant see how the bindings are mounted, so therefore cant tell you if you can just move the heel piece back in the track, or if a remount would be needed.
 
they were center mounted and one shop said, no problem...the ride wont change.another said, it was going to change the ski performance and would want to redrill.

another said, it would likely be just fine and moving the heel peice back 2 clicks wouldnt change too much about the ski, but wouldnt offer the same ride in pipe and park. itd be a bit more all mountain.

dont realy know who to believe.
 
Well if you can get away by justing moving the heel piece back in the track, and still get good foward pressure go for that option. It may take you off center by maybe 5mm but its unlickly you will even be able to tell.

 
Dumbass's he's not wondering if he needs a remount, he's wondering if he should. I would say no because the heel has enough travel to adjust, you won't notice that much. I have a pair of invaders that are +1 from center now because my new boots are alot smaller, don't really notice alot. And if you do notice, you will get used to it real quick.
 
Yeah I had my skis centered, got smaller boots and now ride them slightly in front of center. +/- 1 cm really doesn't make a noticeable difference
 
Were you refering to me?

As i said above he does not need a remount he should be fine moving the heel in the track, and mount wise he will only be around 5mm back from centre which will make no difference.
 
i appreciate all the help fellas...i think ill just roll with it and see what happens. im sure ill be good to go but i wont know until im on snow again...geez, its only May:(
