In my opinion who ever didn't do a switch 10 won the comp even if it was a gay big comp the fact that pep knew he wasn't going to win the comp by throwing a switch 7 takes huge balls i mean seriously i don't think i could do that. Just my 2 cents worth no need worth commenting
 
If I was in that situation I probably wouldnt bother doing switch 10 because so many of them get done that it's just a crap shoot for who wins. What ever one the judges liked most and ussually their opinion on that is off. I'd be like... 180!
 
i hate how everyone thought the 1440 at the USopen was super sick, and now when someone throws a 10 they get pissed.... spin to win is killing this sport......

the 1440 was cool because no one at the open even tried it, everyone and there mother was doin 1080s at the x games so it made it boring, jon shoulda done one of those super style shifty 180s where he gets his skis around at the last 10th of a second

I totally agree, isn't snowboarding taking the turn for more style less huck? I think its a good move cause some of those sw 7's were so sick, I missed all the first runs but someone threw a huge cork3... thats super sick in my opinion

yea we can spin more snowbaorders can do 1800 but WHY dont they them , becuase its such an understood fact that spinning more does not mean good.

( even thgou hthis x games sean white won wiht a 3 10's or somehitng ., they all looks liek 10's they were all ridiculus , the x games is a joke , the fact that sean white won also pissed me off.

Honestly. If you want to go watch someone spin a bunch theres many places to do that. Including ice skating and such.

Skiing is about flow, style, originality and fun. So why are the competitions and apparently the skiers and viewers so stubborn about showing that in our competitions?

Originality, flow, creativity, style.

These should be the 4 categories.

I dont even think the difficulty is relevant to tell you the truth.
 
well I didnt see the footage of the US open big air, but if it was a 1080 fest then I would say "hell yea 1440"... it all depends but that was the gayest most cookie cutter big air Ive seen to date... pep went huge and gagnier prolly shoulda won...
 
SERIOUSLY!!!! How the fuck have more have you not called this out??? Dumonts 7 truck driver was one of the illest things ive ever seen. Imagine on a bigger jump, if Dumont would throw switch cork 10 truck drivers. Would be the ILLEST THING EVER.
 
i don't like how they were doing all tens either but i think that sponsorship has something to do with it. the x games is thebiggest competition of the year with the biggest audience any pro skier willever get and the general public likes to see them doig the biggest thing they can and when they see them repping some companys stuff theyll probably be better off with sponsors. though most sponsors should be focusing more on the real skiing part of it.

lolo's switch 7's remain the only trick that sends chills down my back for 3 years in a row. the man in indestructible, he doesnt use the landing whatsoever
