To people who were lookin for "gangsta" rap

i like gangsta rap, but that shit is over. if i am going to listen to gangster rap, i am going to some 90's shit, not some new guy. There was a lot more real gangsters and crime in the 90's. these new kids are just posers.
 
crime didnt dissapear, and the hood didnt either. that sort of rap is still around maybe you just need to listen to more than lloyd banks or 50 cent
 
they aren't gangsta rap. nwa, biggie, tupac, and shit like that is gangster rap. and crime has gone down almost 75% in boston and 70% in nyc.

you sir are an idiot. For one NWA was never hood, they didnt sell drugs or shoot people. watch any documentary on them. most of them were never gangsta at all they just rapped about it.

i do agree with eastside though, there was a lot better shit in the 90s, the golden-era of hip hop. this isnt to say that there was more crime, though. its because artists actually liked making the music, not just doin it for the $.

but if any you cats wanna speak on gangsta rap, gimme somethin besides Tupac and Biggie. i got gangsta for days. shit you cant speak on...
