To people hating on dumont's spinning in the pipe...

i'm watching some pipe comps right now for snowboarding, and damn they spin some ugly. anything over a 9 is hucked, penciled and it looks like they're a twicthing dead corpse in the air.

my point is get off boarding's dick and stop the hate. comps are going to be ugly across the board no matter what you have strapped on your feet. deal with it and appreciate the technical when its due.

 
do you hate on skiing because you think it doesn't match up to snowboarding? if no, then this thread doesn't apply to you.

there's too much hate about our sport, and not enough appreciation.
 
no theres to much hate on this website, why did u start this thread if you werent mad at something or seomthing? sorry for replying to an open forum im gonna delete my account sell my skis and buy a snowboard.
 
man, you're overreacting. i saw on tv that snowboarding is just as ugly as skiing in the pipe, if not more. you get all these kids that come on posting about how skiing pipe sucks, people are never going to like it with dumont and others spinning huge in pipe and im here telling you thats the way it is so stop wasting your time hating. if you want to be a bitch about it and try to take it as an attack on you, go ahead. otherwise, chill out, spread the love and stop bitching because someone didnt hold their grab for the whole rotation.
 
Snowboaders do pipe runs with 3 different 1080's so they're better!

i was just watching that, i got to agree that some of the spins were penciled but others were smooth and stylie
 
before you can make a new bigger spin stylish you have to be able to stick them so at some point people will be throwing stylsh spinds over 1080 in the pipe
 
what does snowboarding have to do with dumont first of all? and second whats wrong with thinking that snowboarding is more/equally stylish? it depends on where they are riding, judges in most comps like tech tricks so they throw down hard and dont worry as much about floating shit. fuck you.
 
you guys act like babies. dumont can spin any way he wants, he's not spinning for your bitter asses. he's spinning because he likes it.

 
dumont does not impress me at all. i would much rather watch snowboard pipe before his wound ass helicopters.

and if youve seen the 360 how to in freeskier by stephan thomas you know he lacks some serious style. every trick he does he opens with both arms up then does his stock grab, then lands clean after rolling the windows down.

there shouldnt be so much hate, but so many skiers just suck at lfe and create it.
 
Both sports are good at what they do, it's just your personal take on that particular sport i guess....I prefer skiing so i'd watch the skiing half pipe over the snowboarding one anyday....

Ooooohhhhh and aren't this forums for like newschool skiiers???? haha just messing they're for everyone who likes snow! :D

all too often kids are like, "...just look at snowboarding..." or "...why are snowboarders so much better..." among other crap.
