To much tweak?

First off I don't need a bunch of dumbass answers here please....

Does anyone have injuries from tweaking grabs to far? Last year I tore my MCL, and PCL and think that me doing massivly tweaked mutes helped lead to this. Any good streching ideas?

thats a ot of tweak but i don't think it's damaging youu legs, could always just do the same stretchs you at gymin school. thats what i do and i'm fine, mind you i cant mute like that.

^ yeah that was kind of coming out of the spin also... there are some that I get...well us to that looked like a 'Y' or close to parell
 
It is totally possible to strain or tear your knee from tweaking a grab too far. While stylistically, sure, the more it's tweaked, the better. But, if it hurts when you do it, you're at risk of injury.

But, it's pretty easy to avoid by doing a sufficient amount of stretching before and after you ski.
 
warm up with a few ruins and then do some stretching before hitting the park. it shouldn't be a problem as long as you keep your legs in good shape and stretched. also, don't jerk into a tweak, that could also cause a problem.
 
When i tweak too hard, my knee hurts quite a bit.

it's al about personnal flexibility, i know my knews are a bit meesed up so i dont tweak much.
 
yah there is such a thing as too much tweak...... i was tweaking the shit out of my mutes one day to see how far i could go and well.... my ski popped off in the air, I was about at 200degrees when my ski popped off in the air. I pulled the rest of my 360 with my ski in my hand :O I landed one ski after i threw my ski out of my hand( when I landed) I washed out....... There is such a thing as too much tweak! now for streaching tips..... nothing better than tweaking the trick ur about to try in the chairlift!!!

1.ur streaching the exact muscles u need to streach

2. you get to know how far you can go without it hurting

3. you get to practice and visualise the grab

if you dont feel any pain or arent uncomfortable after or during your tweakage, its ok to do that much. just be sure to stretch

it felt like i pulled amuscle in my ankle the other day tweaking double mutes. i think that could be to do with the spk's that i was using being unbuckled!
 
I personally don't have that problem but people with shitty bindings tend to rip their skis off in the air when they try to overtweak...
 
well you shouldn't tweak so much that it hurts. and tweaking probably didnt lead to the tear.
 
tweaking looks kinda gay to me anyways, anything past skis going perpendicular looks kinda homo (for me at least)
 
That was a dope pic and extremely tweaked. I think if you stretched regularly it wouldnt be an issue. look at TJ's tweaked mutes. there rediculous.
 
super tweaked grabs can look gay sometimes, like when people arch their backs and just pull their skis as much as they can, it can look pretty dumb.
