Ok, lets get fucking real now. I know it seems real cool and "badass" to make fun of what Bode or rhalves do (and what 95% of this site cant do) but give it a fucking break. This site is about freeskiing anyways, and why do we have to waste all our time bashing somthing that dosent make your life bad or hard. damn nuckas.

pesonally i dont mind racing, and i have frends who race an everything. And i dont like tell racers there fags an shit. Its just i like thinks its a stupid sport because its not progressevie at all and it dosent celebrate individuality and style. Like if you take the different uniforms off of racers, you couldnt tell one from the other. Thats why i think the sport is retarded, but you gotta respect what the pro racers do beacuse they train ridiculously hard and its not easy to be that stable when ur goin that fast

 
colin we make fun of racing cause of the ppl in it, like the neno's (family at my hill who akes up half the racing tem and we are conviced that they are all inbred)

racing is hard work, dedication, and takes soooo fucking much skill. and by the way racers are usually better skiers cuase us jibbers (i jib also) usually spend our whole day runnin seshs in the park so not really skiin. i mean thats what we love and thats waht they love

 
i think that racing is gay as shit , but all of the racers want to be like us and buy twin tips and just put more money into OUR side of things so fuck you and thanks at the same time

 
this is only like the millionth thread about race hating her is a solution all you people who hate racers for whatever go make a cult and leave the rest of us who don’t care alone. And as for my two cents racing is great I have coached it normally at the good but younger kids we spend less then half out time in the gates I taken kids down parachute bowl (double diamonds) in the park. Racing provides a sold stance in skiing they can then build on in there free time.

 
well dude, i might agree on that with some of them but Alex nenno is one of my better friends and let me tell you, give this kid one year and he will be kicking all of our asses, ALL of them. He lernd rails in a day, did the dub kink in 2 trys and hucks hott ass 3 tails. Plus youll get to know him cause he is done racing and is gettin some twins and chillin with me. And he is a damn cool kid. peace

i used to race, and i'm pretty happy i did. it gave me a good skiing base, and now i'm applying what i've learned to freeskiing. what's wrong with that?

i am happy that i raced for many years and that when i got into freeskiing i had experience on skis. most of the newbies cant ski worth shit but claim that they are the real shit.( bullshit )

i dont see how you need to have a racing backround to be a "real skier" . i just demoed some 1080s one day, sold my snowboard and learned how to ski. i dont give a fuck if your left toe is in the 'correct' position while mine isnt. i just ski.

a lot of racers dont like us, why give them respect when we're not getting much from them? Most of them are rich arrogant bastards. I know a couple who are real cool but its rare. Most people who ski park are very good well rounded skiers, i know i am. I could race and probably do quite well but i choose not to, i like skiing park much better. I can ski bumps good, but i choose not to, i like skiing park much better.

 
^^^ ive never raced, yet i skiied for 14 years so i bet id rip any big mountain better or at least as good as you, you DONT need a rcing background, any solid ski background is good but there are kids that just start skiing one day and are just as good, there is natural ability

ya. i totally agree, you dont need to be a racer to be good. And there definately are too many racers on here who support racing way too much. I know theres a lot of cool people on here who race and ski park or pow, and im not talking about you, im talking about people like ambush.

ok, i dont race i used to and i do agree that alot of the people involved are rich prissy bitches, but i also have alot of friends involved in it. And your comment on how "You will never buy Ambush Clothing" just shows how ignorent and one dimensional you are. I mean how childish is it to "boycott" a company even without looking at the product or even who rides for it, and soley base your decision on how i defended racing. I belive that makes you look like a total ass. peace
