Hey NS'ers just bought my gear for this season....my question is did i pay to much for it? I can take it back within 30 days for a full refund. So i paid 450 (seemed like a lot). Just wondering if there are better deals and i should take them back....Pants were 175 jacket was the rest. Pants to puffy(seemed like that to me)?.... Jacket is sessions ridge line: Istodis. Pants are quicksilver...not exactly sure what model, if that makes a difference ill post them up.

Wow seems like way to much to me. Pants don't look like they're worth $175 and the jacket does not look like it is worth $275 at all.

well im gunan where the coat as like my everyday coat and to skiing, but the pants just for the cold days on the hill....well every ski day probably

Seeing as your from Canada I'm not surprised. We get ripped off sooo hardcore in this kind of stuff.

at a snowboard( yes i know lame) store called board sports, if you know Toronto, just north of davisville

yah srsly we always get royally fucked over when it comes to buying shit, unless you want to go to the US to buy it

that's a nice jacket. you didn't pay too much for it. i don't know about the pants. but 175 is pretty inexpensive for pants, so unless they totally blow, those were probably worth it too.

Canadian retailers are screwing us over with the insanely high prices. You paid alot less then what it would have cost, for sessions and quicksilver gear were I live. But in my town theres only one snowboard shop within a 1 1/2 hour drive, so they raise the prices even more. So I bought my gear online.

i should probably just try it out for a week, or next week when i actually get to first ski, then i will decide, does anyone else with those pants thing they're too puffy, that what it seems to me when i put them on or is that normal?

i got sessions pants for like 100 bucks. and my jacket for 130. i think you can find better deals than that. you just gotta look around.

You paid retail, which isnt overpriced, its just unnecessary. If you look around NS or online, you can find a sick setup for about half that price. But if it is 08 gear, its generally the price you pay.

word, thats what i'd say, if they fit and you'll like them, then get them. My ski clothes last me a few seasons, so if you plan to keep yours for a while, that price isn't too bad at all

Too expensive for me. I would have just bought something from someone on here that has brand new clothing, ebay, or stores that ship to canada. I'd never pay anything over $300 for a skiing outfit.
