i dont know how many of you have read to kill a mockingbird but for school we have to make a detailed map of maycomb. and this is what i have so far. basically all i need is the names of the people that live in the houses that i dont have marked (the 12 squares) and is the school in the right place?

we read it in english 2 years ago, i didnt actually read it. i wish i did though, cause it seems like a really really good book
 
just had our final test on it friday. i read to chapter 3 then cheated on everything else
 
Empathy is a major theme thru out the book. Find out what empathy means. Think about life thru Boo Radley's perspective. Put yourself in Mayella Ewalls shoes. Then, write.
 
x2 great book even for people who hate reading
all i can think of is boo radley, he lives on the corner across the street and then the redneck fucknuts live on the end of the road to the left near the black people and the lady who shot herself in the face with a shotgun's family lives down the street to the right of cassie
 
word it is a really good book. i had to do a map like this as well, and i really can't remember where everything went. but seriously that book is great.
 
it's a great book with a powerful lesson, and it should be read. that said, honestly, what the fuck is the literary purpose in drawing a map of the town?
 
hahaha, we are in the process of reading it. I've read about ten pages of the book, we are having a quiz over to chapter 14 tommorow,which is like 150pages (I haven't read). Sparknotes here I come!
 
haha yeah its a good book and i tryed to read most of it, but when i didnt have to to do a chapter or something sparknotes came pretty handy
 
yeah, we had fall break all last week and we were supposed to read like 10 chapters. I was like fuck that I don't want to read when I can be sleeping.
 
i had to do the same project when i read that book in middle school. great read, i still love that story.
 
i didnt really picture it like that. watch the movie online somewhere, you'll get a good picture
 
my teacher almost made us make a map when we read the book. thank god she didnt. but i hated that book. i spark-noted the entire thing.
 
we just started that book friday, supposed to read chapters 3-4 not planning on it though lol
 
When I read it sophomore year, some jerk told me that Boo Radley raped Scout at the end, so I was very confused upon finishing the book. Then I kicked that kid in the nuts.
