To fix or to buy new skis

I have a pair of Armada Alpha 1's from 2012 that I've beaten up pretty badly in the past year. Theres some normal wear like scratches on the base and on the topsheet, but the biggest problem is that both back edges on my skis ripped out and now they are delaminating. I took them to Willis and they basically told me that they were worthless from the damage and to not even take them on snow this year. This is kinda pissing me off because I dont have enough money for new skis and I feel like it's a somewhat easy fix. If anybody has any ideas on how to fix my edges, please let me know. Also theres a huge strip missing from my base (last picture). Do you guys think I should get new skis or try to fix up these ones? And is it worth it to try to ski on these or will I just fuck myself up...?

If that is what you consider an easy fix go for it, to me it looks pretty hard to repair. I guess if you have the time and hopefully someone to help you, you could might as well try to fix it up but if you have the money defo buy a new pair.

I think you could epoxy/clamp them and then rivet them if needed, but those do look pretty beat.

if you are only missing edges in the tip, just epoxy and clamp them back together, there is definitely more than one thread on ns that goes over this process. You don't need tip edges so don't worry about replacing them.

For the gouge hit up your local shop and ask them for a chunk of ptex or base material, not the sticks, but an actual flat piece, they should have them. Cut to size then epoxy it in the same way you are doing your tips, scrape it flat with a metal scraper after and you are good to go. Epoxy will be like $20-30 for something of decent quality, base material should be only $1-2.

Or you could put that money towards a new pair of skis, really you only need to scrape up 2-300.

You can have my old 180 ninthwards. Top sheets are hacked up, but other than that they only have an edge crack. 90 mm underfoot. Mounted at center with scuffed up salomon z10s for a 27.5. Boot. But the bindings are adjustable with a screwdriver

How much would you sell them for?

Lol you can have them dude. Just hit me up at springs sometime.
Thank you that would help a ton. I'm probably going to be using these skis at seven springs until I figure something out for sure. I'll definitely look for you and hopefully they open soon
