this is what i drive 05 sierra, i like the ride and no one fucks with you on the road. this truck has saved my live a few times, but i hate to say that i want a subaru, cause 13 mpg and no 4wd blows or sucks i cant tell
 
listen i dont give a fuck good luck finding me, the major problem would be if i made one and sold it

Number 1- NS has your IP Address. Which they could easily give to whoever needs it to then track you/find out who you are.

Number 2- You're a Donator meaning you have have given NS your Credit Card info which would lead strait back to you.
 
wait...your tranny went at 122k and your proud of that? 40 years is definitely impressive but that transmission only averaged 3,000 miles a year..thats childs play
my nv3550 in my wrangler is still going strong at just over 160k and lots of abuse..so much for you consistently hating on wranglers..
 
So you're saying that salt fucked his transmission? Are you retarded? I understand he put a few hard miles on the truck and I appreciate the work it went through as any good truck should, however 122k for a work truck (unless it was completely dedicated to plowing) isnt a lot

I could be wrong but I don't think Washington, or anywhere on the west coast, uses salt on the roads. He could be talking. About a different kind of plow too. Such as a farm plow, but I really doubt that's what he meant. I do agree that wranglers are shit.

If you look at my post he quoted I was talking only about transmissions and he brought up an idiotic point about how salt 'fucks it over harder than anything' which might be one of the dumbest things ive ever read on NS

salt wouldn't really hurt a transmission, i am pretty sure that's why they are made from aluminum, it doesn't corrode easily
 
Well that didn't take long. Wasn't it like a week ago I was wondering how long til you ran into a major problem??

Seriously though no hate on you for loving your truck, everyone has their own opinion and tastes. I just hate on you americrap truck. I know I've never blown a tranny on any one of my yotas, but I don't snowplow or anything with them so I'll give ya the benefit of the doubt.

Just kinda funny that we were just discussing this the other day. Good luck fixing it ahd getting her back on the road. On the upside another POS tranny will be pretty cheap eh?

I'll let ya know when the tranny in my t100 goes, you should get a PM in about a decade or so :)
 
the trannys kinda arent that cheap... its 1500 for a new one, moderately built with a shift kit.

i think my trucks problem is it came off of a farm, where the reason it was there was to plow and do other kinds of hard work all the time.
