It is so lame that you can't view picture messages without going to www.viewmymessage.com. And never once have my codes to view my message actually worked, i get an error every time. Pretty lame that my $400 phone cant do simple things that free ones with any plan can do. Don't get me wrong, i love the phone other than this problem, but i have a few questions to anyone with an iPhone:

-Can you access www.viewmymessage.com from your phone? I cant - i can see any site in the world except for the one that i am supposed to view my own picture messages.

-Do your codes ever work to see your message?

-How can you erase songs that you dont want? All the songs in iTunes that are on your phone are grey and can't be edited

yes. I cant believe that apple, the industry standard for design, forgot that feature. I can get to viewmymessages.com on my phone, I just dont do it usually because its a hassle. I have heard that the software update that is coming up will give picture messaging capabilities, but that isnt proven fact. We shall see. That being said, I love my phone and I would never want to change it. Oh yeah, to take songs off the iPod part you need to uncheck the song in your itunes library and then sync your phone again. The songs should be off.
 
^ uncheck the song? Or you mean playlist? I think you can only manage music through playlists

Lets hope the update fixes the messaging problem
 
my advise, hack it and you can get so many apps, and theres probably one for you problem because there are so many
 
yea vermont wont get iphones. but my friend bought one in NH and cant even use teh phone service. he basically bought a touch and hopes he can hack it to servece eventually or service companies join under one, thus his phone working. he already hacked it to get an activation code though, but still. i think i want a touch.

and am i right in saying the iphone and ipod touch are prtty unscratchable? is aw a vid but i dunno if it was legit. like a razor and shit on the screen and nothnig
 
if your friend unlocks his iphone he will be able to use it in vt at any provider. its not that hard, theres really easy tutorials if you google it. no the screen is scratchable but theres plastic screen covers that you can buy that you put over it that stops most scratchs. razerblade thing is def fake.

mehh, doesnt look like he pressed on it, he just sorta let it drag across it...i think its a little more scrath resistan then the classic with the protective film, and about the same without it.
 
another way to take songs on and off it without unchecking them from the library is to set it to manually manage music, then when its plugged into your comp you can drag them(songs, vids, etc) from the ipod,iphone etc's library
 
yeah dude vt can get iphones now though, at&t bought unicel so if you have that you can get a plan for an iphone, a lot of my dads friends have them.
 
Its not on the sync screen where you sync your phone. Its on the main screen where all of your music is. By every song there is a check box on the left hand side. Once you uncheck it, the next time you sync your phone it will be gone.
