I don't "think" lil b is garbage. I know he is garbage. The guy is literally mentally disabled. His lyrics have no meaning. You can try to read deeper into them but there really isn't anything that is intentionally there. It's not artistic, it sounds like shit and his lyrics are pretty much him saying random ass shit with no connections to other lines followed by the word swag. Lil b isn't good. In most cases, I don't view artists as bd or good because with music it really is to each his own. However, lil b does not even deserve the given title of musician or artist. He's a mentally challenged clown with a mic.

errrr fucking derp. I rarely post anymore but sometimes feel compelled to actually log in and contribute to a thread. Now, I'm not gonna say Lil' B is goddamn sensational or anything like that, but he's certainly not utter garbage. My biggest problem with the Lill' B haters is the fact that they've probably never actually listened to one of his tracks. Any, by that, I mean one of his tracks other than the ones he made as a JOKE. [Ellen Degeneres, his track with Milanokis]. Yeah, his album was called "I'm Gay", but it was his first attempt to surpass the retarded, Gucci Man esque facade he's created. It's "I'm Gay" meaning "I'm happy and I love my life". The whole album is full of Lil' B coming clean, talking about his life beyond swag swag bannana and whatnot. So I guess in conclusion, just listen to the album, don't make all these judgements based on tracks that were publicity stunts that were clearly most effective.

i dont know who lil B is, but why are you so highly concerned about his reputation amongst a bunch of 15 year olds on a skiing website? youre accomplishing nothing by responding to everyones hate comments so negatively, youre just creating more stress for yourself

His(macklemore's) lyrics have absolutely no meaning and are directed towards white suburban youths who wish to "connect" and "understand" the struggle of those in less fortunate situations while still maintaining the safety of their parents house or their new subaru wagon they got for graduation HS. Get lost kid if you wanna know how someone's "life has turned out", don't listen to overdone and contrived bullshit.
