Also I find it hilarious that some people who talk shit about Lil B being whack are the same people who think all rap should sound like 36 Chambers or Life After Death (yeah those are good but change is good too.)

this and that whole video was about how he wanted lil b to have his beats so 14 year olds will listen to lil b then try to figure out his beats. It's targeted towards 14 year olds. OP probably why you like it.
and don't even bring up wu tang no one said thats what real rap has to sound like. thats what original legendary rap sounds like. two things that lil b will never be. original or a legend.

 
Lil B is brilliant when it comes to using media to connect with fans, and I've heard he actually puts on a hell of a show at concerts.

He's a terrible rapper imo, but I find some of his songs entertaining to listen to because they're quite ridiculous (e.g. Violate that Bitch)
 
Yeah you can think he's terrible, I dont mind your opinion. I think Macklemore is a terrible rapper and people get all angry and start berating me.
 
The sad part is people actually care about arbitrary "points" on an internet message board and think it equates to being a good person and positively contributing to society.

I know music is entirely preference, but Lil B is so fucking terrible. Not to mention 36 Chambers and Life After Death are two very different types of sound. 9th has a reasonable justification for working with him, but that doesn't change how bad Lil B is. What 9th even basically said is that Lil B knows his audience, and knows what sells. That doesn't make it good music. In fact most popular music nowadays is terrible. Go look at "The Best Albums of 2011" in the rap section of iTunes. Filled with Lil Wayne, Drake, etc. Is Cats and Dogs by Evidence on there? Nope.
 
Finally someone that knows some good hip hop! Can't go wrong when Premier lays down the beat to a couple tracks of an album.

Wow I kinda butchered that one, but truth be told Im sure MLK Jr had terrible karma at the time, didn't mean what he preached wasn't correct. Same goes for this, often those who speak the deepest and realest shit will get a lot of hate and disrespect from those around (not unlike what is happening to Lil B).

anybody with lil in their name sucks and can't rap for shit.. they only sell to the brainwashed mainstream youth of our generation and their songs make people like me get bloody ears.

If you can get past laughing your balls off at how wonky and absolutely crazy some of it is, his ambient albums are seriously on some metaphysical based level ish.
