how difficult was it to keep it clean? is it or was it possible to keep it clean and make it last 2 or 3 seasons? Also any other feed back or opinions anyone has about jackets feel free to throw them in!

i have a siver cartel offwhite jacket, i spilled taco sauce on it and then i washed it with powder detergent and it was fine.

i cant reccomend powder detergent more. for ski gear it keeps it from losing waterproofing in the washer.

I've had a white jacket since like jan-feb and its so dirty, but thats cause i wear it to work and leave it on the floor of lift shacks etc.

you will just need to be prepared to get some stains on it from rails/trees/oil/whatever. If you spot treat it (hand wash) with something gentle like nikwax it won't compensate the waterproofing much and it should get most of the stain out as long as you let it soak for a while. Just make sure you don't scrub with anything abrasive or you'll mess the material up.

i hated having one, it looks sick when its clean but it was just too much of a hassle for me. always got chairlift grease on it that dripped off the riblets, pain in the ass

its up to you how much you want to worry about keeping it clean, you always have to be aware and carefull. i just got a tan jacket and its awesome not having to worry about a little dirt

light outerwear is so hard to keep clean... my light jacket got dirty, especially on like the inseam of the arms, just from wearing it around town, and I didn't even leave it on the floor or anything. I would probably never get a white jacket but that's just me.

its not too difficult to keep clean. oxy clean is where its at if you end up needing to get stains out. works every time on my white jacket. so clutch.

+ if it's a high-end gore-tex jacket you can wash it. just follow the instructions. in fact washing / drying cleans out the micropores and makes the jacket breathable again and reactivates the DWR coating. but if it's a cheap jacket, then yes, washing it might fuzz it out a bit, but better than wearing a brown, stinky jacket.

They get dirty. Real dirty if you actually ski and don't just take three laps through the park and then go home. Deal with it.

its no prob ya might get a little ketchup or somthing on it but you could do that with any jacket just get it and dont worry about it i have almost always had lighter colored pants and they have been fine

actually there's a real good product out there called nikwax.. they got a few products that'll work a hell of alot better than powder detergent.

Um, wrong. You fall on a box or a rail you get some nice grease marks. I'd say OUTSIDE the park you'd be more... "fine".

yeah my pants always get trashed before a coat. Rust stains from rails can be frustrating but usually if you clean them its all good.

same, colour is pakis. Got kinda dirty, I wouldnt reccomend white. Hard to keep clean, and sometmes the lift drips oil, and it stains.....
