Alrighty ive been trvelling for the good part of a year now and what ive noticed over the past months has been a rise in the hatred of the usa by all the people I meet. Now I have nothing against americans. Most of them are cool, just like most Canadians or British or Thai (etc.) are cool, theres just a few people which back up the stereotype for each country. Your president and fucken head office is ruining it for your fucken country. And yes you can write this off as fucken shit statement made by some skier but fuck guys with the way you economy is going, the fights your picking, the fucken mass mistakes your government has made and your national inability to vote in the right person, soon enough your not gonna be a superpower. Are you at all nervous of the hole your country is digging itself into and how fucken hard it is gonna be to get out? should be

i agree with you^^^. but like melvs said, the american people are much different than the american government. Almost no one belives what bush is doing is right, but i cant tell if that is peoples honest opinions or if theyre trying to be anti-establishment and follow the group by saying something they dont believe in.

Being from Europe, i've noticed a rise in 'hatred' towards the U.S. as a whole since Iraq, and its not just people with eastern origins. A lot of people in Britain aren't to fond of the U.S. at the moment, so i doubt its a problem involving only the eastern world.

^I should clarify, I do see the distinction between gov't and populus, as well as the fact that the ENTIRE american public is not anti0france...but media outlets certainly don't convey that last part very well. So it's hard to overlook.

People ask why we elected bush and all of that, but lets just look at the other choice that we had. Al Gore. He isn't exactly the best candidate to pick from. Also, people say how badly the economy is doing, but i todays close was 10,627.85, which is a lot better than we were doing before, and im not exactly sure, but its either about the same or higher than it was when bush was elected. Now i dont like bush, but you can't deny some of the things hes done have been good

I despise bush. i'm not going to lie he did destroy al queda which i'm sure has saved many peoples lives. However, he went into iraq stating that there were nuclear weapons there which have yet to be found. As for the economy, the economy is going up because its been a while since september 11th, its natural that the economy will go up overtime, its not that bush did to help that. Bush is just a rich fucker from some rich company that takes money from families in need. i can say this because i'm not some wealthy american and what Dean has done for our state (Vermont) is amazing and i would vote for him over bush anyday

Lets get this thing straight, Either America elects leaders or representatives, which have big differences. A representative, represents the people doing what they want them to do even if its dumb. Leaders are the people who take there countries in new directions, Leaders take control, and do what they think is right. Good examples of leaders-churchill, FDR, Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Jefferson, Washington, Andrew Jackson

i dont know how all you people think our economy is doing so good rite now, it is one of the hardest thing to predict. But common sense tells you that a war and occupation, plus a sluggish economy and tax cuts dont make sense.

the economy is not doing better, and if you think it is, you need to check out the facts some more.

From what i can see, this argument is stupid in itself. The economy of the united states is one of the best in the world and always has been. And it is possible it has been going up because the people which are building all the new things in iraq are americans. They have contracted everything therefore this is where the extra money may be coming from. other than that i would like to state that personally i think bush is a dumbass as i explained above and the united states economy has gotten better just because of increase in time not from bush as J.may stated earlier peace.
