To all who are in Canada....

Canadian Thanksgiving is essentially the same thing as American Thanksgiving. The thing to keep in mind is there was no Canada or America when the settlers were starting out. So the celebration evolved in both of what later became two countries together. I'm not sure why they ended up on different dates but likely that came after.
I just had turkey and mashed potatoes and stuffing and peas. Happy Thanksgiving.

i hope you are being sarcastic. do you seriously think that we are supposed to memorize what canadians eat on various holidays?

also, canada is nothing like the u.s. you have far less cities, people, and climates. also, you have a different type of government, different laws, different political views, and you are still part of the crown.

You guys still have the Queen on some of your coins and shit though don't you? If so, to quote House when he was talking to Chase:

"You still put the Queen on your money. You're British (or in this case, part of the crown)"

thats it. spot on.

but for the record , i had lamb for thanksgiving, becuase i like to fuck with the system.

like 3/4ths the Canadians in here are being total assholes.

the guy asked a simple question about a holiday that we celebrate and instead of a strait answer you guys just started up all this amerihate. Hate to break it to you, but as Canadians we dont know all that much about the states. probably more on average, but not a ton.

yes, we generally eat turkey on thanksgiving. its pretty much the same holiday you guys have only a month earlier. its better though cause we dont have to watch endless thanksgiving specials because we get a lot of american channels.

THANK YOU! Jesus fucking Christ that took way too long. On thanksgiving I watch football or put in a movie, can't stand watching all the damn parades and shit.

oh my fuck, FINALLY. you fuckers argument kept me from getting the facts. good day to you all.
