Whata re all your teams rated on laxpower.com

My team is 188, and we've beaten the 151. just wondering what kinda talent we got on this site. I'll stand right up and say I'm horrible, I'm just lucky to be on a team with some damn good players

Are you talking on the national rating list or new england? The 188 on national is from NJ and you're from NH. im confused.

I play on St Marks in New England. I dont wanna know what we are nationally haha, but in New England we're 129.

On a cooler note, I'm from wilton CT (traditionally one of the best teams in the country...ranked 2nd in 95 or 96, and ranked 8th in 99)....but i saw Darien CT and New Canaan CT play in the conference finals. These are the top 2 public schools in new england, and in the top 5 in new england including prep schools. It was pretty sick. Darien has attackman going to Princeton, UNC, and a midi going to Harvard, and a few others. Pretty sick game. Both teams are ranked inthe top 25 in the country.

damn my team got Second PLace in State but were only 551. Probably because we're from Utah. West Coast Lacrosse!

Being from Baltimore, Maryland i've had the privelage of playing with some of the best players in the world in highschool and my private school team you've probally heard of is ranked in the top 10 laxpower ranking. It's kinda like life down here it's expected you play together from the time you are 5 till you graduate from highschool

when I played in HS my team was around 30 usually. St. Anne's Belfield. Everyone on our team thought we were badasses until playing Bmore teams like St. Pauls, McDonough and B Latin. Ahh lacrosse. I just play club for my college now :D

i'm pretty good, west coast play is a lot different from east coast, as many of you know. our team got second in state in 01 and first in 02. i was also on the second all state team (for washington)...but i kinda quit after playing a couple months in college...

lets see, this year we sorta sucked at the end of the season, but we played deerfield the closest (4 goals) they have been played all season (xc their loss to hotchkiss). I had no part in any of it this season given my torn acl. oh well.

laxpower: 27 in NE, 124 national.

New York (long island and upstate) and maryland/DC are the top shelf of lacrosse, with CT Public, NE Prep, Pennsylvania in 2nd.

Oh ya. Clarification to my last post. Im not saying there aren't sick teams elsewhere, but in general, as a whole, thats basically it. But there are sick teams in New Hampshire, Ohio, Michigan, etc.

our team got 1309(ISsaquah WA) WE got thrid in state too. BEing on the west cost makes it way harder to get ranked high. HEy ALpentalik did you know a kid named Ben Cohen on your team I think he may have been on the same team.

I think that the extremely competetive rec programs that kids are put in when they are 5 or 6 is the reason the baltimore lacrosse is so good and I imagine is the sam situation in New York. I started playing with a group of kids when I was 6 and we normally practiced 3 times a week and 2 games on the weekends for the 10 or so years until highschool. Once we got into middle school we started playing together everyday on school teams. And the coaching here is top notch, normally your rec coach will be a former college player or coach, and will stick with your team for your hole rec life. Once you get into highschool you are coached by arguably the best coaches in the country. I'll give everyone else credit they are starting to catch up fast, we played a team from Florida last year that gave us a very good game and a couple of teams from PA gave us a challenge, I'm sure it's the case for places in New England and the midwest. At camps I played with some very talented kids from Colorado and California, once they get an established feeder program it will only be a short time before they are beating the national powers.

124th... only loss, to Wilton, i think they're like 166th or something. in the conference, we're seated third, and they're seated fourth. good enough for me, but girls lacrosse is a joke.

who cares what youre rated in the states, come up and play a canadian team, we'll whoop all your asses...my school team is off to OFSAA, which are the ontario championships, for the second time in four years, although i dont know of any rating system to go by to compare with US schools.

this thread is so funny. All the newbies to lax, I love it. My school had a team starting in 1961. I remember in middle and high school these texas all-stars teams would travel up in the north east for good competition and we woudl kick the crap outta them. Usually like 18-2 ish and stuff. But hey, I could have played for Ohio State ;) But then reality kicks in and you realize you dont want to spend your college life training five hours a day only to get owned by UVA, hopkins, SU and the rest

I love to see lacrosse spreading, it's wierd to go to camps and see how different everyone plays. I've noticed that New York has a more run and gun physical style of play, similar to the canadian game, while Maryland has a much more finesse and calculated game. I'll admit I like to watch the New York style more, and it's fun to get to play them.

hey man my school is nasty at lax usually, we have produced one of the best lacrosse players, ever i cant remeber his name right now, but he was sick

we also untill this year held the longest winning streak in highschool football of all time, 55 strait wins, yeeh represent
