i just got a canon GL2 after almost 2 years of negotiation with my parents. i'm getting final cut pro from this ugly chick, so i haven't really played around on it yet. heres the question, i need a really dope font for like pasting peoples names on the screen and for the title. theres going to be some electronic music in the movie so i thinking something more similar to the kind of graphic that armada has. where can i get a lot of fonts? keep in mind that i have a mac? and lets say i find a font thats not on a program? do i just download it onto my computer and cut and paste? advice please?

Check out 1001fonts.com for a load of free fonts. I use Fatboy Slim BTLC on my website and all my videos, which is the same font used in the NS logo at the top left and other parts of this site - very nice font, although maybe it doesn't fit in with the electronic theme.

shit boy, final cut pro 3 is the wa to go, and it works for macs. i find that the transitions in that program arn't the best, but you can still do some pretty cool stuff with them. try color correction, you can scroll it through so it looks all trippy and keeps going from blue to red to yellow to green to bluetored toyellowtogreentoblue tored...

 
go to www.dafont.com thats a good place too...and if u want to make ur own font...takes like 20 seconds go to www.fontifier.com (must have scanner)!

you could buy the adobe font pack.... along with Extensis Suitcase to manage all those bad boys.

 
makeing your own graphics is the best. theres a load of sites on the net where you can make font graphics
