To all SKIERS who wear BURTON PANTS

wow that sounds ridiculous, i really think we shouldn't support Burton, all these company's have such a great opportunity to be involved with our sport but no, we ski. shame on you.

1. I have the last years firefighter pants from ronin. They are awesome and the best pair of snowpants ive ever owned. im a large kid and they are still nice and baggy, even around my feet. i think ronin stuff is pretty steezy. i work at a shop and i have found the burton branded stuff to be tight in the cuffs, but not the ronin.

2. anon is lame for dropping their skiers. instead of blaming burton, a still independent, true-to-its-roots, pretty-chill-to-be-involved-with company, im going to blame anthony bacon. his movies were primarily funded by anon and they were pretty poor. i think once the anon people saw that they were like, "woah, skiing is lame." unfortunately the skiing they saw was lame, due to the editing in those hosewater-sucking videos. like mirroring people's shots to make it look like they could do tricks unnatural, and using the same shot multiple times. anyways, im sure tj and parker wont have too much trouble finding new goggle sponsors. those kids f*cking shred.

3. i have heard rumors of burton bringing back the 'skiers vs snowboarders' grudge as a marketing scheme. if this is true its just another gimmick and i hope it doesnt work. most experienced snowboarders are wicked chill, at the worst elitist. its the n00bs who buy into the 'skiers suck' stereotype. it kind of sucks, though, stereotyping, and i think when snowboarders do it they are a little bit entitled to, kind of like how black people are allowed to call white people crackers and were not allowed to say nikka. up at snowbird people will come up to me and say, completely serious, "i hear the snow is better at alta because theres no snowboarders up there to scrape it all off." the snow is better up at alta because its a few hundred feet higher, and the storms hang out up there a little longer cuz they get stuck at the end of the canyon. unfortunately it is way easier to blame snowboarders and believe lies than it is to face reality and the concept of storm patterns at elevation. kind of like how its easier to deny global warming and blame it on the chinese, or whatever.

4. in the end i dont think much of this matters as long as we all come together as one to continue making fun of ski boarding, mono-skiing, and people in rear entry boots.

i had a pair of burton gloves last year that fell apart in about 3 days...so thier quality is suspect -even though i've had a few other pieces of outerwear i liked. i would never buy burton again for a couple of reasons

1. every wanna be on the mountain wears burton because it is at every shop and people think wearing burton makes them instantly legit...sooo played

2. they hate skiers so i hate them

dont get me wrong burton makes fine products and all, but oakley supports skier and makes probably better products, which is why i own oakley gogs, jacket, pants, and much other stuff... but i always though burton had a good attitude towards skiers, guess not, me no longer support

i dont really give a fuck

they make sick stuff

they should keep the skiiers on but its not a reason to not keep getting the ill products

how is the Ronin 2L pants on this!? I am really stoked on them...but if they are thight around the boots :S

I'm 185cm tall ( don't know about feet) .. will XL be baggy then? I really want baggy clothes...

And aint that the pants T wallisch is using? they seem baggy on him...

the 2L are sick, they arent like what im talking about. but yeah my brother tried on the size small, he is 5'3, and believe it or not, the pants were quite gangsta

when did they ever say that they hate skiiers. half the people who work there , ski! i went there for a project last year and toured the whole headquarters shoadowing the graphic design department, and i think only like 2 ppl in the graphic design department snowboarded, the rest didnt do any winter sports or skiied

POSERS, support skiing, next step is skiing with no poles while wearing bank robber masks, you might as well be snowboarding.

i'm not talking about the people that work for burton. I'm talking about the way that burton presents itsself to the puiblic. They seem to have an attitude that says:

"we're a snowdoarding company that recognizes that snowdoarding is the only worthwhile sport...if you gay skiers want to wear our shit and admit that you want to be snowboarders too then thats cool with us, but dont expect us to recognize or promote skiing."

maybe I'm wrong but Burton just comes off as elitist and condescending toward skiers. They do make some sick outerwear but i'd rather rock a flannel and carharts.

i have a pair that i got probably around 6 years ago that i still use. i don't wear really baggy anything, but they fit well and don't get tight around my boots.

Burton is so sweet! you can get it on mondo sale at your local dicks sporting goods or even k-mart i bet!!!!!! hopefully ill be able to get eggs and burton suits at my local walmart superstore!!!!!!!

i paid 30 dollars for a pair of xl black dots 2 years ago, they look like black snowpants and from 5 feet away you cant tell what company they are made by. also they have zero rips yet.

thats all i have to say.

On the whole "Fuck Burton" debate, lets flip the tables. Its the same thing when skiers only buy Orage and Siver. They are doing the same thing that Burton is doing, just its a positive thing in the skiers head. I dont care, I have an Orage Jacket and Sessions pants. I wear whats GOOD QUALITY, not who makes it.

i owned burton gloves once, they sucked ass even though burton claimed they were top of the line, bottom line i wont buy burton again

ha ive never worn burton but my capp3l pants are pretty tight around the boot until i unzip the ghetto slits and they should be big , they are just tighter and longers eh

i have sessions pants, and i love em

they have fleece on the butt so you dont get cold when you are sitting strapping your bindings in, lol thats how snowboard oriented they are

i used to wear burton cause u kno ya gotta support the local...aka in VT...but they are like that...big at the top smaller at the bottom....go for some oakley or even grenade that fit over ski boots welll

His name is JAKE Burton....And i have the gold shawn white pants from last year because they match my Bonfire camo jacket...they make some legit shit....And anyone who makes fun of it because "Shawn white is lame" The pants are way sicker then those gay as oakley pants that say oakley down the leg, that is why people think skiing is gay

my white collection pants arnt like that.... and they're really nice to. I say whatever feels good and is quality, who the fuck cares if they are snowboarders, i know a lot of cool snowboarders.

I don't know if it is only me, but my salomon pants seem to fit that way too. They are big up until the ankles, where they just seem tight. Strange

my ronin pants are absolutely amazing...they are baggy all the way around and go to the floor in the back and almost covers my front buckles. They are wicked comfortable and thats the reason I bought them. It is retarded what has happened though
