this school year i have metal tech, and i need to know what to make for the class, (i dont want to make a rail for skiing to simple and i want to win), so what do you think ould be some ideas that are within reason

ive been thinking about making a mini bike, but how hard would it be, i would make it real simple, no suspension, maybe 1 head light, just real simple

what do ya think?!?!?!!

make a casting of a marionette about 1.5 ft tall with all the moving joints and stuff

i was going to make one but i got to lazy

I actually built a minibike over the summer. Its really fun to play around with and its totally worth it to build one. PM me if you have any questions.

Build a crazy rail like the red bull rainbow box with the swings under it that thing is sick. itd be hard to make too.

make a dope drop in, or make this

make a go cart man, or a buggy. Takes a little more time, but is fun as hell.

Build a picnic table bike. Take a picnic table, and weld a frame, put 4 bike tires on it, and throw some other necessities on it(cooler, grill, etc). It was on line's webite a while ago, but i couldn't find it.

i only have about 70-60 days to do it, 90 minutes a day, and we only have the basic things like welders, grinders, drill press, we do have a metal bender, its a hand one, not sure if it could bend the metal for the frame of the bike, i will have to ask my shop teacher when school starts, i will go to this yamaha dealer near were i live, i know the girl whos dad own it

my senior year of metals i built a real nice kayak/canoe/utility trailer. since then i have driven it cross country a few times. it was definitely a good project.

i made all sorts of shit in two years of shop class in high school. here are some things i made and cool stuff my friends made for ideas you can use.

- Luge (build frame outa metal and use skateboard trucks and wheels things fly)

- Snowboard Rail

- Fistpacks

- Vice

-Trailer Hitch

-Grill out of a 50 gallon drum ( use plasma cutter or wizard wheel slice it in half and then customize the crap outa it. Then use it for a cookout on last day of shop class, use charcoal so tasty)

- Grappling hook

- various signs out of a bunch of scrap steel

-Bottle opener ( on a lathe)

- There's tons of stuff you can make, just use your imagination or look it up on google, which is much more resourscful than newschoolers on this topic. But good luck

last year in a class i was in we made sit down three wheeled bikes, like the 3 wheeled motorcycles. ours had 2 wheels infront, but 2 wheels in back can also be done
