To All NS'ers who have a business/ business sense

Whats going on NS, not sure if anyone remembers but I made a thread about a hot sauce business I was starting last month promising everyone free sample. Things are coming along really well, cant wait to send everyone their samples who replied/ helped out in the last thread. We just sent out business cards to print, web site is coming along we are less then a month away (hopefully) from purchasing our first bulk order of 2000 bottles-our plan is to give a minimum of 1k away as soon as we get them. So everyone will be getting theirs sooner than later we hope.

Fingers cross trademark info was shipped today so I can let everyone know the name early next week if it goes well.

HERE IS THE QUESTION...we obviously need a merchant account to accept payments. We have just set up our bank account for our business and need to find a way to deal with CC's and pay-pal. Does anyone have experience with this...pay-pal takes 2.9% and .30$ per transaction. that's about 45 cents per sale-cutting our margins super thin. CC's are just as bad-

NS might not be the best place to ask but does anyone know of ways to get around this or have experiance taking payment at a discount. I cant afford to pay 7-9% of turnover to fees just to get paid. I need a good brain storm session here- anyone have some good input/help.

no idea about the fees or how to get around them except for sending money as a gift, but i don't think you can operate a business like that.

Wordpress. They most likely have a plugin that does something like this. I would also use it for your website. I use worpress, the Link to my website is in my signature check it out
