which is more of a stiff big jump, more aggresive ski. reviews seem mixed. I loved my trouble makers but they delamed what is closest to that? thanks

The TNK's are stiffer. More of a pipe / jump oriented ski.

If you're trying to avoid softer skis, don't look at the STLs.

i ski stls and they are so sweet. i skied line anthems before which i hated because they were like noodles. compared to the anthems the stls are as stiff as a race ski which i want in a ski. but either way i think you will completely satisfied with either ski. 4frnt is the best!

STL's are towards the softer side(mine nollie and butter like crazy and i love it). Like said before, TNK's are a jump/pipe ski, STL's are more of a jibbing park ski.

stls are definately softer, tnks are a bit stiffer and wider

i rode stls 2 yrs ago and tnks this year...i say try to avoid 4fnt..great skis but they are too delicate

i rode my tnks for maybe 3 months and the tail and nose railings already are coming out

i do ride hard but skis shouldn't do that that easily

thats a weird issue considering its on the nose and tail. They are great skis but the top sheets get destroyed real quick.

Not anymore, I was pretty suprised that this "Bomb Top" they put on it works so well. My topsheets look 20x better than my AR5's did after this much use. Not a big deal though, but a nice feature I thought I would share.

really? Mine are 08's so maybe thats why. Mine look like i took a hacksaw to them. Not complaining tho, the ski is one of the most lively ones i have owned and topsheets mean nothing!

EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED TO MY STLS!!!! And to the thread creator to answer your question.... Neither. unless you get a really good deal on them.
