TNGHT

It's one of those artists that's got me thinking,"whoollly fuck this is the sickest shit I have ever heard, oh my lord I need to people to hear this *makes thread*", but also, "What the fuck is this. Who would ever make such a weird, peculiar arrangement of sounds... I mean, there aren't any real instruments"... I can't even decide if I like it or not.

I think it's just one those songs I would play from my phone when I'm drunk, just for partying and shit. Sometimes I feel like becoming a DJ.

I found them because these guys did a live jazz improvisation... yea, you read that right. Now listen to it.

crazy sick beat.

HudMo and Lunice both kill it on their own too.

there are actually a lot of producers with sounds like these guys', you just gotta dig around a little bit.

Definitely not trap music... This is like, a divergence from trap music. I can hear a lot of elements reminiscent of original trap production (lex, etc.) but it sounds more minimalistic, cleaner and polished like a lot of Diplo's shit, and other instrumental/dance/electronic producers like flylo and nosaj thing.

It's actually been bothering me that I'm reading people calling these tunes "trap". Trap is a genre of rap, and I have been listening to Waka and Gucci mane for a while. I know what trap sounds like, and this ain't it.

I guess the producers are just getting more attention now a days, which is allowing them to branch out of their traditional body of work. I mean, I would love to hear more collaborations like this. So clean. Flying Lotus + Lex Luger instrumentals play in my dreams.

no.

The "Trap" is a word originally meant to describe a part of a city/neighborhood with heavy drug production/trafficking activity.

ha exactly what i was going to say. inb4 Floss remix of Original Don.

if you're going to post trap, at least make it hood shit:

Both of you are wrong, but you are far more ignorant, so I'm

quoting you.

Trap as a type of rap is completely different than trap production. Lex Luger is a trap producer on the rap side of things.

The producers that are getting really big for trap production are a whole nother thing
