TMs or invaders...Need to know soon

i've never riden invaders, but i have a friend who have, but i do have my own pair of trouble makers, from two years ago, and i love them. I still ride them once and awhile. they are fun

I rode TMs for two runs down the park and they were fun and nice but never rode them for a long time/off the park and never rode invader. I do know alot about invaders and how they suck off the park but if I got the invaders it would be strictly my park ski

trouble makers are a really tough ski i beat the shit out of mine and they are still skiable. and the graphics are sick on that model.

yea its preference, my invaders ride great but i ws also thinking about tm's. its basically whatevr your into.

why are you asking this question have you seen the threads about how the`invaders just break at random after acouple weeks skiing

Invaders will last one season, Tm's could scrape two. They've got better build quality. Tm's also better for normal skiing about by a mile. I say get them.

if u wanna ski at all outa the park get tms. and they will hold up longer, all around better ski

buy the TMs. sell them for 375 then buy the invaders and have some cash left over. people will buy the TMs trust me. they were buyin them last week at my ski shop for 450

i really wouldnt get neither but if i had to chose get the TM's line is horrible with durability but tm's thena again i busted my edge out on the first year of my 04-05's but they're prolly beter now

which are lighter? These are going to be a park specific ski, seeing as I already have MSPs and AR5s(probably going to sell and get next years thrusters when they release)

these kids are crazy. get invaders. The quality issue was last year. I have seen countless pairs of this years beat to hell and are still holding up. TM's are TERRIBLE.

i would beg to differ. i had about 60 solid days on one pair last season before a piece of edge ripped out, about 30 on another pair, and about 40 on another pair before i even got a crack. its all about a good detune with a hand file. TMs are amazing skis for park

dont know much about what line did differently with their invaders this year, but dyna did alot with their product and made the tms sick this year. they thickened the edges and added a second layer of edfe underfoot to help prevent cracking. the general area underfoot is less flexible to make them hold up better, and there is a strip of base around each reinforced edge that helps them hold up even more.

the ski is a light, flexible ski that will be easy to manipulate in the park. i'm pretty sure they went with a wood core again this year. no idea how they ski all mountain tho.

TMs for sure, especially if their same price. My 05-06 TMs, are exactly 1 year and ~2weeks old. Absolutely no edge cracks, nothing. I have yet to even tune them, although I'm getting that done saturday.

I ski mine pretty hard, that and these are my first pair of park skis so I expected mine to trash pretty fast. I also teach so this adds up to countless hours on snow. still great pop and everything, hold up great on EC crap, but get shaky at high speeds. make sure you mount them a bit up, i got mine remounted +1-2 after i bought new boots and it made me fall in love with them again. previously were at reccomended

Troublemakers FOR SURE. If they are indeed this years models they have reinforced edges and a grind plate thing on the bottom. The have so much pop!

you guys do know these are the old TMs right? 2nd year, green color changing with the lurker eyes, soft top.

aka these ones

and if this ski is going to be hitting a lot of rails, i'd go invaders just cause these edges are soft, and crack really quick. if these are more of an all around ski, that will mostly be used on jumps and pipe (where they perform like your mother...very nice) and not really rails or boxs then go TMs, or if you don't care about losing chunks of edge go TM.

Hahahahahaha. Never rode them, but you know that they "suck off the park," huh? That's a pretty stupid thing to say.. If you know the least bit how to ski, you'll be all set with the invaders.

just got a pair of invaders this year and I love them, there so easy to ski. never riden tm's but i woulddef go with invaders anyday

yeah if you click the picture for the 175s it shows the new pic and if you clickthe 165 or 155 it shows the old one, kinda sketchy

And as for everyone else there are so many for one or the other hard core. I believe it is just going to be up to preference and I would like to ride the invaders so Im probably going with those.

if you really detune the edges of the tm's they will last forever, dynastars keep their flex longer then any ski I know. the edge problem will dissapear if you really detune your edges. and i am not talking about a little week ass gummy stone, I mean taking a file and rubing it untill it is round, you better be seeing metal come off the ski.

TM's fo sho. invaders delam like crazy.. and the edges on TM's really arnt that bad, my friend has a pair of the older TM's (green and blue) and the edges are still good.
