TJ's 1620

dude big spins are so gay, it's impossible to look good in the air when you're spinning a 16. Skiing will not and should not progress in that direction...

lulz

hes just trying to win man. you know thats the only way they can. if it were a perfect world tom could throw a motionless zero and win, but thats just not how the xgames go down, and everyone knows it.

ya man that's a good point I wish Big Air was just judged like purely on style. Then we wouldn't have to watch all of these tricks and spins we could just focus on style

why not just let skiing progress in all directions. and it was still steezer than the average person could throw a 9 so i give him major ups.

Dude its was frinken amazing anyway if it wasn't completely styled out! I would like to see anyone else throw down a dub 1620. Until than TJ is the man!

Because you touch yourself at night.

Seriously you UK? I;ve got links for live stream and watched a replay earlier; can send you links if I can find them.

dont worry, the 16 u threw a few years ago was dope, just not teej's dub 16 muted to death dope!!

Every time someone went up switch, I was hoping they'd zero spin it. Especially when brown had his throwaway run and did a backflip, should have zero spinned.

you're wrong. skiing should progress in every way. if you don't like it then don't do it. i think racing is "gay" but i'm not saying they should stop, in fact, i hope racing lives on.

the best trick of the contest was in eliminations when jossi did the heavy headed backflip and the did it again after he won. but the dub 16 and sw dub 14s were so sick.

TJ's tweaked out 5 for fun after bobby won it was definitely the steeziest jump in the entire comp. not the most difficult by any means but it was soooooo buttery

haha I just wanted to see what kind of reactions it would get, cause that was the popular belief at the time.

TJ's was sick as hell though. Double cork 16 with a solid grab?! Funny how people said nobody would ever be able to make a 16 look steeezy

i understand style is important, but what would progress the sport if everyone just kept doing stylin sw 10s? what separates the sport each year is the technicality and IMPROVEMENT over the previous year. Landing a 1620 is absurd, and if everyone could do it they would. its a competition over all, JOSS and other competitions can place more focus on style

haha alright i concede to the fact that big spins aren't exactly pleasing to the eye, but i feel that as long as it isn't penciled and they throw in a grab then whatever, TJ's looked clean
