Seriously you should go for it, that sw 1440 mute was so slow. I think it is definately in your power to do a switch 1620.

watching how un hucked that 1440 was... 1800 would still be possible without looking like TOTAL shit... it would still looked huccked but not that bad. especially on a bigger jump

His new axis cannot be spun unless you want another Johnny Moseley because that's exactly what will happen if he tries it again!

I really don't understand what the deal is with "oh, big spins are lame." its just one way to ski, and even if (some people think) it looks ugly, it doesn't really matter all that much.

nah dude, that would be kinda weak, i know im gonna get ragged on for this but a normal 1440 or switch 1260 over chad's would be so much sicker!

dont get my wrong..his sw 1440 looked amazing...but i think there becomes a point where spinning like that is rediculous...i almost think thats a trick only for big air because i dont believe somebody is going to do it in a comp like the xgames yet...i just think slower more stylie spins are my favorites...but dope though

STOP PROGRESSING! Dang, it seems like every time I do something that is considered "cool" or "steezy" at my mountain, TJ Schiller pulls a 1440. From now on, no one can do any more tricks until I am equally skilled. Maybe twenty years or so.

oh what the fuck do you know, youre some dumbass kid posting online who has never skied or hung out with TJ...you have no idea what he is or is not capable of. A week ago you would have been crying there is no way to do a switch 1440 and make it look good.

yea! why stop here? everyone should just spin spin and spin. and do it like mogulriders never grabbing and soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fucking ugly.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! STOP SPINNING AND DO DOUBLE TRUE NOSES!

all this hate on spins....the only people who diss on big spins are those who stay inside and play x-box while real skiers are out there progressing the sport...

Those who can't - Hate

Those who can - Do

there is nothing wrong with a big spin in competition if it's not hucked. TJ's 1440 was certainly not hucked. And, when some skiers are trying bigger spins for the first few times, they might be hucked. that is why there is a thing called practice. there's a reason TJ won with that trick and it wasn't simply because it was 1440...it also looked damn good.

how does that help anyone, i would honestly rather see a really clean slow switch cork 5 or 7 with like an opposite mute or blunt or something. i bet a ton of kids could prolly do a switch 1620, just find a big jump, hit it switch, and spin as hard as you can. im not dissing tj and that switch 14 mute was real nice, but people shouldnt just spin to win. its the combination of style, height, landing, and technicality, not just a huckfest.
