Tips?

Set up a lake jump if you can. Neck injuries are not fun. Other than that its basically leaning back and knowing how to follow through with your body. Also find somebody who can give you tips in person.

Just build a pretty steep little kicker in into the biggest powstash you can find, make sure to throw straight back, tuck those knees, keep looking straight up/back till you see the landing. The biggest thing with backflips though is absolute commitment, if you hesitate at the last minute your gonna either land flat on your back/head or throw harder back with one shoulder and end up all crooked and out of control. Once you get over the commitment thing(definately the hardest part for me) they feel really natural and smooth.

i was at hood in the summer and we built up a kicker. I've done backflips before but i under rotated big time and landed on hard packed snow on my back/neck and it didnt hurt at all. The worst thing you can do is think about it. As they say at windells the worst advice is a mom saying dont hit your head grab you balls and fuck it

remember to bring your knees up first time i tryed it i thought i could just lay it out how i do on a tramp but i just landed on my stomach

maybe learn how to do it on a tramp frist to firgure out the rotaions? then practise it alot till you could stomp it everytime on a tramp. thats all i got.

Keep your shins pressed against the tongue of your boots and weight centered, be patient with your pop, pop hard and set all in one motion.Set your rotation with your hips by pretty much trying to hump the air and put your chin up to the sky pretty much. Keep your abs flexed and when you see the landing, bring your knees in and you will come around and stomp it!Commit to it and good luck dude!

get over your fear, other than that its pretty easy and self explanatory. fear is always the element between stomping and fucking up. oh and skill.

lemme break this trick down for you. first off. get some baggy pants. make sure you sag them. your probly gonna wanna attach some suspenders. not for their actual purpose. just to hang there, and look all steezy. and probly catch on a tree and dislocate your hip when you ski on pow days. make sure you don't wear a waterproof top. Hoodies and big shirts seem to be all the rage these days. fashion over function i always say. make sure your wearing bandana. have your goggles under your helmet. and uh yea, that pretty much covers it. o yea....pop and commit and you'll get it. good luck and don't try it on a jump with out a soft landing unless your positive u got it!!!!!!
