Tips

any tips for beginners? i know i should spot my landings over the shoulder and stuff, but any tips on how to pop, pretzel, butter, nosepress, railslide, etc? thanks

the only thing that is going to help is to practice a ton, and don't be afraid to try something, but don't try something that is too far beyond you current skills, because I've seen plenty of peopele get hurt trying something they weren't ready to try.

learn the basics. seriously. how long have you been skiing? my personal opinion is you should been skiing for years before you make your way into the park.

ski as much as you can. everyday - i know when i worked teaching i'd ski everyday all season and those years i was such a better skier.

just practice...and push urself! dont think u cant do sumthin always try and turn ur 180 into a 3 and that into a 5 just keep going dont stop cuz ur scared

Don't ever ski casually. Push yourself with every run, line, or hit. Skiing with people who are better than you will naturally challenge you.

thanks guys, i appreciate the tips.

btw i know i should railslide b4 pretzel lol. yeah for the guy who asked, i started off skiing and went to boarding, and i skied about 10 out of 30 outings last year. im comfortable on most runs, mostly because i skate very well as a result of hockey. so basically, the park's the only place i aint been. if i get the 07 fujas, could i learn slides and presses easier? would it have nice pop? could i still carve? thanks.

i have the o5 fuj's, and i ski all mountain with them. up untill the end of lat season they didnt really see park. they carve fairly well and pop up really nice. havent seen any rails or boxes yet so i cant tell you anything about that
