Ha ha! Just put some old socks over front end! Oldest trick in the books.

I saw a car with a roof rack that had the skis mounted sidey-sidey instead of fronty-backy. It looked wack af

I didn't even know you were suppose to mount skis one direction, I usually put the forward so I can open my hatch with them on the roof.

Anyways, get a cheapo box off craiglist. Well worth the investment.

I prefer the Ohio helicopter. Sideways on top of the car.
