Hey guys, MASSIVE +K for help, we put together an edit a few weeks ago of the spring and we just would like to have some input on them! thanks for the help

(i know theres a few of the same tricks in the first one cuz we all just learned corks so bare with us)

This one my friend and i put together with a decent camera and tried to make it look good

and this is my self edit that i would also like some help on

thanks a bunch!!!

PROS:Sick skiingGood white balance/ContrastGood camera qualityMusic worked well
CONS:Auto-playShaky cam (1st one especially)Backyard seshs are sort of boring in edits

Overall really good!

thanks man! +K, this might be a dumb question but what is atuo-play and i just put the backyard stuff in because that was some of the only good rails stuff i had seeing how our home mountain has like 1 good rails haha

standard thing really, some of the shots were quite shakey so try and maybe smoothen those out( not sure how with a gopro) and secondly try and keep the colours similar throughout, like there were points where it felt quite chopped up becuase the colours changed alot so just correct that maybe....

Auto-play isn't an issue with the edits, it's just how you embedded them. It's the reason they start playing right when you open the thread, causing the viewer to pause one to watch the other. No big deal really, just a little bit annoying.

It's a new thing with vimeo, you have to check it off somewhere, forgot where. But back to your edits, The skiing was good enough that I was entertained watching it, My major suggestion would be to work on your colors. Also it was a little shaky but nothing too bad, I would work on trying to smooth that out. But overall they are very nice edits. Also I know its been said but try not to have much backyard sessions in edits, They are kinda of boring to watch.

thanks guys! +K to both of you, i guess i gotta work on the color and being more steady, also i didnt think the backyard thing was that bad, but everyones got an opinion, i wish my mountain had more rails to do stuff on but thanks again guys

Some parts flowed with music, but most parts could have been flowed better, super good riding, but i think if you would have used different music, more fun, less gangster hip hop stuff, it would have flowed better, the riding isnt super gangster, even if it is reallll sick. but loved the footage, a little shaky, but that can be dealt with, with a counter weight on a pole mount, or a steady cam, but overall, fun to watch.

thanks man, but its not really gangster music its just rap, we tried to get the landings so they would go with the beatt

like you said, repeated shots, and keeping the skier in the frame the whole time. it looks like youre using a gopro so maybe its not your fault though

thanks man! im looking for a t2i and ill def get one of those grips when i do, but my friend ( whos camera we used the first one with) i hope he gets one

PROS: Sick skiingNice flowGood vibe
CONS:Pretty much what everyone else said, camera shake.
I'd give it like an 8-9 out of 10.

Experiment with different mounts (try a camera shop if available) and see what you like best. I, personally, don't really like the X-Grip, but some people do, and if you put a little money into it you can get a really decent stabilizing rig.

skiing was pretty ill! Also, the music choices were good as well. But yeah, a tripod or grip would definetly help! Good Luck!

im on my phone today cuz im at my grandmas for easter, ill will when i get home andi have been so yeah, sounds like you do care bout karma! haahaha jk

I wont repeat what everyone else said and just add that you should try to get a bigger variety of tricks rather than having so many cork 7s and rodeos. Otherwise i really liked it
