go into a knuckle or roller with medium speed, start to carve in with lots of pressure in the front of your boots. when youre maybe 5 ft from the knuckle the angle between the knuckle and your skis should be about 30 degrees. at that point really put your weight forward by leaning over the front of your skis, doing a little hand drag helps. thats when the actual butter starts, and you want to be looking near the tip of your uphill ski. and by looking, i mean try to touch your nose to the tip of your uphill ski. when you get the apex of the knuckle and go weightless or airborne, look over your shoulder to spot the landing like a normal spin keeping pressure in the front of your boots the entire time. it always helps to land on edge for maximum steeze.
