Tips for 'trippy' editing

Hi guys,

I've got some dynamic footage of some roses, and I want to edit them to a trippy/dreamy kind of hip hop soundtrack for a short insta edit.

I'm going to play around with it, but just wondered if anyone had any tips? I'm working on adobe premiere, and preferably don't want to download any pluggins.

Trippy generally rhymes with mirror effect, but "trippy" can define a lot of different editing styles.

it really starts on camera, shoot with primes close up, pulling focus also adds to the "trippy" effect.

Even if its just an insta edit make a lot of cuts too, dont let shots sit and get stale
